"Great location for hiking in Cold Spring. Jimmy and his family are very welcoming hosts. The rooms are very clean, but the sound isolation isn't good, I could hear conversation from another room until late at night. It's not cheap, and it's not fancy, but it's well located, just a train ride away from Grand Central Terminal."

"A delightfully cozy place to stay! Squeaky clean rooms, warm and welcoming hosts, a cute little family enterprise. And downstairs, the attached cafe has fresh warm sandwiches. Just the thing for a rainy day, or to energize you before a hike. I recommend the veggie monster or the gyro sandwich! The river is just minutes away by foot, and you can browse the stores on Main Street along the way. Cold Spring is a lovely place to visit to be quiet, relax, and meander leisurely, and the Cold Spring Hotel & Cafe is a great place to stay while you’re here."

"Jimmy, Mona, Adam, and Frank of course are the best in the business when it comes to hospitality. Family atmosphere here!!! Superb food on site. Guests at hotel get 50% off. Really don’t need to eat elsewhere. There is ice cream and pizza next door which is pretty good too. This should be your place to stay. If you’re heading over to West Point or in the surrounding area definitely will not be disappointed."
