Panera Bread 1109 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083

"I’ve frequented this location several times and had pleasurable experiences. Unfortunately, at my previous visit there were a few items from my order that were made wrong and were not fresh. I reached out to the manager and he promised to comp my next order. I forgot about the comp and decided to place another order today that totaled $75. However, once I made it home to my family for dinner, I checked my order only to find that 5 items were missing, I received the wrong item, and another item wasn’t complete as ordered. I find this to be a pattern and clearly a quality control issue. I hope whoever is in leadership will identify the disconnect and correct it."

"Never been here but recently went with my girlfriend and the staff is super friendly. Some guy helped me w my food and I'm super appreciative of that. The place has great music and is def a vibe to study or get work done. The food is amazing and I never have had a problem w it. Will def be back. Thanks Panera Union Team !"

"Went there with my wife to have lunch had a grilled cheese and a broccoli soup. My wife had 3 scoops of the soup of mine and started feeling sick on the way home. Later that night I threw up the whole soup, and crazy diarrhea. Called the manager Darius and he said Oh! No one else has complained. I must say this is the nastiest Panera Bread I’ve ever experienced. I will never eat Panera bread again after getting food poisoning buyer beware."

"This is not how a 14 dollar meal should be served. It’s not enough for a little kid to eat. Should be ashamed. I don’t recommend at all eating at Panera. Don’t waste your time and money here!!!!"

"Updated as of 5/23/23 : This branch made an improvement over the years. Kiosk optional ordering as soon as you enter through the main entrance or if you decide to order from an actual someone there at the counter. Service was fast and friendly. I tried sitting in a booth today, and the floors needed to be vacuumed. Tables needed to be wiped, and windows needed to be cleaned. Coffee stations needed to be more organized, and for the foundation drink straws needed to be more accessible. It's located on the side by the cups, but that gets into the way when individuals are waiting there for their order. Why carry paper straws and plastic cups? A lot of individuals do not perfer paper straws, and neither do I. It's just something to consider."
