"If you looking for good soul food, here is your spot. This is the best soul food place in Newark and been around for years. They’re the only ones selling slab bacon… I’ve had everything on the menu but my favorites are the smothered chicken and smothered pork chops, fried pork chops, collards, string beans, all the beans, Mac and cheese,, well just about everything on the menu lol. Chris be putting his foot in it!! Thank you for serving the community for all these years."

It truly reminds us of our grandparents' cooking. Every bite was delicious and I did not have to add any type of seasoning to my plate.
