"Food was nasty the turkey was tuff and wet I thought they were baked. They need to just stop selling Mac and cheese and collard greens all together or get a new cook. Don’t go there at all. And I honestly think they know this refused to refund me. But would for the Mac cause they know it’s nasty"

"Beautifully decorated restaurant with an Afrocentric theme and delicious food and friendly attentive staff. Dining area has plenty of tables as well as picture window counter seating (perfect for solo dining). The menu has a variety of choices including: appetizers, sides, entrees, desserts and beverages. Vegetarians will enjoy the choices here. Prices are appropriate for the large portions. Eat-in (smooth & relaxing vibe), take-out (call ahead because food is made fresh to order) or delivery. There is a shared parking lot as well as free street parking."

"This is my second time going to the restaurant my first time I had the smothered pork chops with Mac and cheese and collard greens, and the second order was baked turkey wings and the same sides. I thought the smothered pork chops was made in gravy.( NOPE) they fried the chops the poured gravy over them so I asked you not going to put the chops in a saute pan with the gravy to get them smothered. ( NOPE) the gravy was flat no taste what's so ever.The turkey wings was big as heck ( I'm use to the baby turkey wings ).But they where ok needed some seasoning . The best thing on the dish was the Mac and cheese. The collard greens had a little spice and sweet taste. You put flavor in the sides but nothing on the meats. So I said I'm going to give them another shot. So I went back to day 8/4/23 this time I ordered the chicken wings with Mac and cheese and potato salad.. ( I took one bite ) The wings was bland not a drop of seasoning not even pepper. The Mac and cheese was good but the potato salad was watery and sweet. My thing is how can you have seasoned sides but not your entree. If they have a a recipe for all the entrees and sides someone is not following a recipe. And the chicken wings dinner cost me $21. 00 and the two dinners I got the other day cost me $44-$46. The Crew that was working on both of my visits was nice and friendly. But I'm not rushing to go back...."

"Fish, mac n cheese, beef ribs, and French fries were good. Potato salad was watery Collard greens could have been cut down more. We had more stems than greens. Overall atmosphere nice and host/ waiters were very nice and pleasant."
