"Lord give me strength. Never have I ever. This place was recommended by a friend, whose opinion is valued. I kid you not, our waiter took our order 6 times! Nothing was complicated, the only thing I asked was that my 9 year old’s hard shell tacos have cheese only. The “kicker” is that I am fluent in Spanish and placed the order in Spanish as our waiter spoke to me in Spanish. The waiter returned to our table and brought back entrees that were no way close to the entrees we ordered. It is important to mention we were the only table there on a Saturday night. By the time we left, we were one of three tables. We vented our frustration to the only other waiter who made our drinks. He told me the waiter who served us was not new and that we would not be charged. I will say the appetizers were good but can’t say anything about the rest. Needless to say, we will NOT return."

"Found this place online and wish I had found it sooner! We split the molcajete and it was amazing, everything we could've hoped for. Our waiter was kind to warn us that the "double" option is too much food for 2 people, and based on the size of the regular I know he was right. Everything that came out of the kitchen for other tables looked good. Our server and the hostess were both charming. Look forward to returning."

"I wanted to give them a good review so bad but, They lacked authenticity and taste while presenting it well. If I could give them 3 and a half I would… While everything was beautifully plated and the setting was really nice, the food was bland and could really use seasoning. Best part of the whole meal was the fried rice which had the appearance of a Chinese fried rice but reminded me of my mother and aunts rice growing up.(I’m Puerto Rican) I waited about 10 months since their subtle grand opewheg to eat here because I figured Id give them time to work out the kinks… the tacos had barely any taste aside from what was actually in it but I expect some sort of authenticity to them. I’ve had better off of food trucks in NYC. I’m not trying to bash them because they were extremely friendly and not as discriminative as I’m used to dining in places in these areas. So the 3 stars was for the setting and presentation the half of the star would’ve been because they were nice but the taste of the food is almost half the battle if not more. Ps the fried ice cream was good but nothing new or Mexican for that matter."
