"Had lunch with a friend, first time with new management. It's definitely an improvement from the previous mgmt. with improved, wider choices and generous portions! Our server Carla was very professional and rendered an attentive service. Do not mind going back again!"

"Our first time there since it changed ownership. While they claim to have the same food and staff, that isn't true. The charming ambiance is gone. Natural wood is painted white. Menu is much smaller as are the portions. We will not be returning. Only our waiter and the sangria didn't disappoint us."

"I absolutely enjoyed my first experience and definitely won’t be my last going to this restaurant. The food is delicious but the service was wonderful. The host/waiter during lunch time was absolutely accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. I had the branzino which would usually be baked but I requested it to be grilled which they accommodated me was delightful. The branzino was a large piece compared to other restaurants and at such a great price. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere and felt homey if that makes sense. I recommend this restaurant. Two thumbs up."

"Always great food been to the Newark one numerous times! This is equal quality. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I had the paella Valencia. My wife had the surf and turf. She said the filet was cooked to perfection and very tasty. My father had a 2lb lobster which at 78 he devoured. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection !! I will be coming back for my anniversary I have to try the white Sangria, the red was very good!"
