"It’s not even worth one star, I had no choice but to leave one, to post a review to warn other people.I called Astar for a quote, their call out is $199, and it was the worst experience of my life as the technician quoted me an astronomical outrageous amount of money into thousands of dollars for a job worth $350. He not only made me sign a waiver for structural damage he was going to cause in my house but he was going to replace items that did not need replacing lying to me that it was going to take hours to fix my leaking pipe he also scared me into saying that I needed all new fixtures new taps,a shower valve and pipes, also that ,he was going to rip out my wall, when I asked why he needed to replace taps he said I can’t use them I just redid the my bathroom 8 months ago ( giving me an option to buy my own hardware which had no issues) .I am totally disgusted with their service and would like my call out fee returned as he came in lying to me with ill intentions of destroying my property to make a profit, what a scam and a shame . I called another plumber and he charged me $350 with all fittings he took 30 mins where Al star quoted 6-8 hours on the job. Use their services at your own discretion please, I feel really bad for people who are at the mercy of rip off services ."

"Great service from start to finish. I called on a Sunday with my heating problem. Despite it not being an emergency call, I was contacted within the hour to get further details. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and informative. Tim came on Monday and assessed and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He was very pleasant and helpful. I am very happy that I chose Astar! It put my mind as ease during my heating emergency!"
