"This was an amazing Christmas Eve meal. The staff, quality and service were all excellent!"

"We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. The price for 4 people was $290, which included a tip and had to be paid in advance. This was the absolute worst dinner I have ever eaten. The rolls were hard as a brick, the butter was in a big bowl and had to be scooped out with a serving spoon, the turkey was mediocre, the dressing was mush, the prime rib was mostly fat, the charcuterie board looked like it was a pile of leftovers, and the desserts on the menu were all gone. Not to mention the serving utensils looked like they had been used all day with dried food on them. I complained to the manager, as this was an absolute ridiculous price to pay for food that was literally worse than a cheap frozen microwave dinner. The manager took my name and said she would talk to her supervisor the next day about a refund. My wife also made a complaint on the Colonial Williamsburg website that night. After a week and we hadn’t heard back from anyone. I tried to call and left a voicemail on the manager’s phone, but still never received a call back. They did refund half of our money today, but still didn’t bother to call, and the food wasn’t worth $145 either. Granted our reservation was at 8:30, but if that’s the kind of food you get at 8:30, maybe they should reduce the price by 95% after 8:00. Actually, they couldn’t pay me to eat here again."

"We have had such fun here every morning. The staff makes the place! Olin, Edmond, and Aretha have kept us laughing while providing great service. It's been a great way to start the day while on vacation! And the food is great, too. The Eggs Benedict is delicious!"

"We came to Traditions for the Sunday brunch while we were in town. The first thing I noticed was that my teenage kids probably wont eat anything on the menu. Secondly there was not just a simple breakfast to choose from, everything was over complicated and over priced. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, it took about an hour to get food then my meal was cold. Our server Jill took it back and brought me another. she was great, very friendly and accommodating. Maybe they should serve the buffet that they were tearing down when we entered it looked pretty good, instead of this brunch menu. The value wasn't there two bowls biscuits and gravy, pancakes and a strange chicken and waffle sandwich for $110.00. Head down the road 2 miles and have a tasty breakfast and Shorty's diner."

"We had a party of 8. The server was new. We waited about 30 minuets for our food to come. I recommend paying $30 for the buffet. It’s expensive but the food is not worth the wait. Get the buffet food so you don’t risk waiting 30 minuets for food."
