"Very helpful and friendly staff. I took my bass in for a set up and an amp in for repair. A couple days later, the luthier called me to ask some questions so he could set up my bass to suit my playing style. I picked up my gear a couple days later and everything was in great order and fairly priced. Highly recommend."
"I recently bought a new Yamaha Pacifica 311H and was very disappointed by its setup: slight fret buzz on some open chords, sharp notes at the 3rd fret, sharp notes at the 12th fret, dull notes beyond the 12th fret. All of these are issues that a legitimate setup should have caught and addressed. Having been told when I picked up the guitar that it had been setup, I called the store to ask for the cost of a setup to be refunded and I'd set it up myself (I live an 1.5 hours from their store). I was told that they couldn't refund any part of my purchase price, but if I brought the guitar back they would "set it up for free." So, they would do "for free" what they should have done before the guitar left their store to begin with... and I could waste 3 more hours of drive time and gas to take advantage of their "free" setup. They also commented that I had gotten the guitar on sale (so, I guess sale items don't get proper setups), and that no one else who had tried the guitar had complained about the setup (perhaps that was because they expected that issues would be resolved). Very frustrating. I won't be buying here again."
"I brought my son’s saxophone here for repair over the holidays. I appreciated that the store had a specialist who was able to provide the repair quickly and for a reasonable price. They also had rentals available so my son was able to continue practicing for an important audition in the meantime. They have great new and used instruments - will definitely come here for any future repair or instrument needs. Great to support a local business too!"
"They let me try some guitars from behind the glass, answered all my questions. Very friendly. They gave me a great price on a reverb pedal that I've always wanted and even gave me one of their power supplies that they use for demoing pedals from the back because the store was out. Great selection of vintage guitars and amps, great atmosphere, very knowledgable staff! Couldn't recommend it enough. Support your local music stores!"
