"If you’re considering ABA for your child please if you can choose Moli! My daughter is autistic, and we are parents that do ALL the research and appreciate all types of therapy that will help her growth as a community member, her advancing socially, her choice making and her language skills. She is non speaking but is eager to talk to us and I owe that to Moli. Moli is a place of acceptance, support, and love for kiddos who are neurodivergent! As a parent you just want your kid safe, and from a mom who is OVERPROTECTIVE, they gave me grace and communicated reassurance, because my daughter can’t verbalize YET! They are miracle workers that give me hope for my daughter to thrive in her own way in life. As a woman on a list for a diagnosis for neurodivergence myself, can confidently with my whole being recommend moli autism center because of the work they have done with my little girl !"
"We have seen tremendous progress with our daughter's communication in just a very short time at MOLI. She loves her time there and often doesn't want to leave! The employees are all so kind and they clearly communicate her progress after each session. We are looking forward to watching her progress at MOLI!"
"When our oldest son was two, and diagnosed with autism, we began a frustrating two year search for an ABA provider. Our first was a provider that began ABA in a way that appeared to us as more of a shock therapy. It was extremely rigid right from the start, at only two years old, and the sessions were troubling. Our second provider went in the opposite direction, where it honestly felt more like we were just sending him to a very expensive daycare. All the while, he was growing up and would soon need the skills to get through a full day of school without the distractions that autism can so often create. MOLI changed everything that we thought about ABA. Their providers were firm but gentle where they needed to be any time they found a point of rigidity in our son’s behavior. They have given him so many tools to self-regulate when he gets stressed over a change in routine, denied access to a preferred item, etc. It has made a tremendous difference in his life and ours. There were times we thought he might not be able to make it through a full school schedule. That is no longer the case. He is learning and thriving. Our second son is also diagnosed. And we have seen similar results for him as well. We cannot speak highly enough of everyone here. They all take their job very serious, and comport themselves in a very professional manner. We are so lucky to have you all in Virginia Beach. Thank You!"
"I’m incredibly grateful that we found Moli when we did. My almost 4 year old son started here a year ago and has made incredible progress. From communicating to potty training and everything in between, their focus on independence has helped my son grow into himself. As a military family who moved to this area from overseas and didn’t know how to navigate his ASD diagnosis, as well as having virtually no support, Moli has been a life changer. Every teacher my son has worked with there is kind, patient and passionate about what they do, and I love seeing how happy my son is when I pick him up everyday."
"My two young boys have been attending MOLI Autism Center for the past 4 months. My 3 1/2 year-old son was nonverbal when he started at MOLI & he is becoming increasingly verbal every day. He is currently speaking in 2 (sometimes 3) word phrases & has very recently started asking "where" questions. He is also a runner & a few weeks ago, he attended a football game to watch his older sister perform with the marching band. He made it thru the entire 2 1/2 hour game without attempting to run off with just a few verbal prompts, a couple toy cars, & a bag of Skittles to help him stay with me. My 5 1/2 year-old son has a lot of anxiety about trying new foods. When he started at MOLI, his safe foods included: mac & cheese, french fries, cereal with milk, yogurt, applesauce pouches, chocolate chip cookies, waffles, pepperoni slices, chips, & goldfish/cheez-its. Everything he ate was very brand-specific. After only 2 weeks of intensive feeding therapy, he will now eat sandwiches (peanutbutter & jelly, turkey/ham/salami with cheese), raw baby carrots, blueberry bagels with cream cheese, apple slices (unpeeled), bananas, and today, his therapist is working on helping him to tolerate or eat a clementine. They are also helping him to accept the same foods he enjoys eating in different packaging (example: applesauce in a cup vs. in a pouch). I also want to add that he has gained 2 pounds after 3 weeks of feeding therapy at MOLI; he weighed a steady 40 pounds for a full year despite my best efforts to introduce & encourage new foods on my own. In regards to toileting, the therapists at MOLI helped potty train both my boys in under 6 weeks! I tried numerous times since the age of 3 1/2 to potty train my now 5 1/2 year-old son... their approach to potty training works! I make a 1-hour round trip commute to MOLI twice a day, 3 times a week to get what I strongly believe is the best ABA therapy in the Hampton Roads area. I know when I drop off my boys every morning, I am leaving them with a group of professionals who truly care for their well-being & work their hardest to meet their individual needs. I know my kids are safe & loved while they are there; as a special needs parent, that is so important. I can't recommend MOLI Autism Center enough!"
