"I am probably the longest standing resident living here now for 8 years! Clearly I don’t want to leave! I have no complaints…neighbors are friendly, parking is appropriate, I feel safe with the security gate and box, and on top of everything the staff is amazing! Cindy is always available to assist me, Shaquil is the most down to earth guy always humble and helpful, and maintenance is always prompt with work orders never have a problem with them not completing a job! I appreciate them all! Anytime I need something the staff makes me a priority and handles it! I plan to live here as long as they let me! And I absolutely recommend it to my peers!"

"I am a fairly new tenant at the Carlton and so far my experience has been nothing but positive. Cindy and Shaquil are the best. They take time to address your needs no matter what they are doing. I rented the club house for a Halloween party and my friends were impressed with the spaciousness and decor of the club house. We had a really good time. The price to rent was reasonable as well. I love the fact that they are dog friendly. All they ask is that you curb your pet, which I don’t think is a lot to ask. The amenities and gated community are great. The apartments are spacious. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to be in a centralized location."

"I moved to Virginia from San Diego, sight unseen. After reviewing several apartment websites and reviews, I decided to go with the Carlton. The main reason I chose this complex was because of the reviews, the location, gated community, secure building and also because of the staff. I had several questions, and Shaquil took the time to answer all of them, he was so patient with me and I asked a ton of questions. If I couldn’t get him on the phone he responded to text messages. Shaquil, Cindy and Dianna stayed in touch with me through the whole process and even agreed to a change apartments for me at the last minute as my personal circumstance had changed. I’ve been here for over a month and I love this place. I am so glad I made the decision to come here. All of the Carlton staff have been amazing and very professional. The apartment I eventually took, had been vacant for a little while because a prior applicant couldn’t take the unit at the last minute….that being said a couple of days before I picked up keys, Shaquil went to my apartment and freshened it up and even text me an evening picture of my patio, showing me all the natural light that came through. He went above and beyond my expectations. He left a care package on the counter (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap etc). After a 5 day road trip (40 hours) I was happy my apartment was clean when I arrived. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my furniture to arrive and Cindy offered to lend me items from their own clubhouse and model unit. I bought a couch and TV after I moved in and these pictures show basically all I had in the unit for two weeks. Thanks Carlton team!"

"I have lived here almost 2 months. I love my apartment home and the staff. I’ve made it my own with adding final touches such as drapes, pictures on the walls, and flowers on the patio. It is also a gated community, ADT is available to offer additional security services, and it is a pet friendly community. All of my neighbors have been friendly as well. I highly recommend the Carlton at Greenbrier."
