The Grand at New Port

"Been in my place for 4 days and it’s been broken into twice and I have children . When I told the office they stated they don’t have nothing to do with no one trying to break in , told me the police said no damage was done so I ain’t need a report , the foot prints are clear as day on my back door . The door is broke and she is saying that’s a lie . Told me she has a life too and don’t have nothing to do wit a break in . My kids are terrified to even go home and I just moved way here from Maryland and I never been this uncomfortable this is not a safe environment for anyone especially kids . I regret even moving here my apartments has rust everywhere and it was painted over . And I’m turning this matter civil since they don’t care"

"Living here at Grand new port is very horrible place to live this place is disgusting the walls are very , very thin so you can hear each other full conversations through the whole apartment. People living here now next to me have 4to 5 children and allows here children to bang and stomp for hours this goes on every single day. I have complained multiple times to the people in the office nothing was done . I was told if I called the police by the people in the office they may can go forward and start the process of doing something about it . I called the police and they said they do not come out for noise complaints or disturbing the piece complaints and that it's a civil matter . I'm the only one next to the lady who has all the children and just letting them bang and stomping every day so the adults are being malicious and being even more extra with the noise now . I'm constantly being awoken by banging. I'm now looking now to move to a bet environment and and a better place. The apartments are out dated and boarded up wood on windows because people are always breaking in to the first floor apartments . People who live here allows there children to constantly be sitting all on your steps and be eating on your steps dropping food drawing on your steps and below it . Standing and playing children playing on top of your ac unit device in the back of your apartment. Trash always all over in the back and front of the apartment children toys left all over the place in the back and front all the time . I have taken pictures videos of all this and they have dogs that they leave the feces right there on top the steps . This place is horrible I do not recommend anyone to live at this place it's horrible living here . I've been living here for some years not because I wanted to I moved here 2018 I was going to move the very next year I didn't then 2020 hit my mother caught and heart attack and was brain dead and covid hit I had to keep going back and forth to new York where I'm from to take care my mother so I was completely buisy my mother remained in a nursing home on tubes and device's keeping her alive and me and my sister was the only one taking care of her so I was buisy to my core I had no time to move. But trust me I would have been out this dumb. So my mother just died some months ago in 2023 now I can move from this horrible place that's why I was still here not because I wanted to stay at this disgusting place. I see people reviews saying they remolded they place before he moved in that's what they doing now just in a few months but I've been living in a dumb for these years. I had my ceiling cave open at one time some time ago it took the people in the office 2 months to send contracters out they sent them soon as I started saying I was going to call the 12 o'clock news. I have video and pictures of my ceiling opening and me telling them over and over again and I have pictures before it caved pictures of it opening up and videos of the whole ceiling caving."

"I live here and been here for 3yrs and these bad reviews are not true. Those ppl must have or had to have been the problem. My apartment was completely remolded when I moved in, new everything ! Also haven't seen the violence out here that they mentioned either."

"They don't fix nothing. 1 maintenance man for the complex...daughter been without air with a 1yr old with asthma and Eczema for a week..The roof fell in..crackheads in the hallway smoking Crack have fuss get past...just called 7/25/22 Mya so rude. Trying get the ac for my daughter..she been calling sense Wednesday of last week...."
