"I had an interview here for a medical assistant position today. The lady who interviewed me, I think her name was Aleta, I’m not sure if she was the office manager or what, was extremely rude and hateful. She stated that if I wasn’t able to keep up during training, I would be “lost in the woods and no one will come find you”. Then she talked badly about people with tattoos and piercings and told me that she didn’t like them and that it reflected badly on their practice to have someone like that working there. Zero tolerance for anyone getting sick in their first 90 days (when it’s flu season) and no time off requests would be approved. I’ve never met such a judgmental person. Then she refused to say what the pay rate would be which is a huge red flag, just rudely replied that it was “private” and would only be discussed with me if I were offered the position. After this interview, though, I don’t want a position here. Sounds like a horrible and negative work environment."
