"I can only give them one star. I woke up during my surgery. Instead of removing the catheter while I was back under, the nurse ripped it out after I came to. Next to childbirth, it’s a horrible feeling. They wanted to release me that night and when I explained that if something happened with the surgery site (in a major artery), I would bleed out before I ever got care in the area I live. They coded everything wrong with insurance and now their lawyers are coming at me for over $20k. I had a stroke. Which required heart surgery to close the PFO I was told caused the stroke. I was out of work for 4 months. All of my resources were tapped to make ends meet. And now, I’m barely treading water. But let’s make sure y’all can take your luxury vacations and such, while stomping your patients into the ground. Smh."
