"The receptionist was extremely loud talking on the phone and with other patients. I work in the medical field, HIPPA is all I can say. We sat for nearly an hour before being called back into a room, and when we got into a room, we sat another 45 mins until our appt was over. Better scheduling could prevent this from happening. Patients should not wait more than 10 mins for a scheduled appt.. one gentleman said he had waited for 1.5 hrs to be even called back into a room! Horrible!"

"I have billing problems with this office since 2018. I have called several times about this talk to the front desk, talk to the billing department, and my problem hasn’t been resolved. They over charge me for one office visit and I never got a refund.,The billing department gave me a number they said that I was going to get a refund, but it never happened. Now they are sending a bill for an office visit and they are telling that they don’t have access to previous visits. I think it is really unfair that they send bills and they don’t want to recognize mistakes and issue refunds when they overcharged for office visits."

She is the perfect blend of being educational without talking down to you, she is kind, patient, flexible and willing to work with the patient, and she makes herself available for any and all needs. She goes above and beyond and makes me feel confident and secure with her care."

"I have to say that Dr. Sothanathan is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. After having problems with high blood pressure for several months and being placed on more and more medication by another doctor, she finally got me on medicine that has kept my blood pressure normal for the past year. She's always available and even called during a holiday weekend to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend her. She's been a lifesaver."

"I wish I could leave a zero star review. Was left in the waiting room for an hour on my first visit before they brought me back to the patient’s room where I had to wait a little longer. This was in their Arlington office. At a follow up appointment in their Fairfax office (to see a different doctor) I was left in the waiting room for 50 minutes before I left (in addition to the 10 minutes I arrived early). Before I left I talked to the front desk (trying to give the benefit out doubt). I was informed that the doctor generally runs behind as they take longer with their patients. If it’s a known issue then maybe schedule appointments accordingly. I’ve had two visits, two different doctors, at two different offices with this practice and I will never go back. It’s disrespectful and a blatant disregard for peoples time to book them at 10:20 but not see them in until 11:20. I will add I had no issue with the front desk, they were pleasant, courteous and professional. Unfortunately I didn’t schedule an appointment to see them, it was to see a doctor."
