"I requested my baby's vaccine records and they made many obstacles to not give them to me. Being a mother, they denied me, they made me pay the amount of $25 to request all the medical records and to date they have not been delivered to me. It is disappointing that this provider when you want to leave and change healthcare providers, they do not try to help you."
"I don’t know where our family would be without Dr. Shah, and the staff. I could say so much but I would literally be here all day, just typing. It’s hard raising kids but it would be even more complicated without a “good” dedicated Pediatrician. Sometimes I think she was born with a stethoscope, perfect bedside manner, and knowledge :)"
"Recently my son had a case of bronichitis and coughing non stop in the middle of the night. I called the on call service at 2 AM and Dr shah answered the phone. She quickly called in an inhaler for him which calmed his cough down and was able to sleep through the night. I can’t appreciate her enough !!! Dr shah is amazing and very personable. This is not the first occasion where she has answered the phone at night; in the past I had same experience. She also follows up with you next day to make sure the child is doing ok. She is definitely putting the “care” back in healthcare where these days Dr offices feel very commercialized and have a business feel rather than healthcare. I’m glad we have dr shah as our kids pediatrician. Also, she gives same day appointments whenever your child is in need. Staff is amazing too. Her PA is really good as well!!!"
"Dr. Shah and staff are Amazing!!! Despite her very busy schedule she always makes time to respond to your phone call or email. They try their best to accommodate your child when sick. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor for my son. Thank you!"
"Our three kids originally became patients of theirs in 2021 and we were fairly pleased with their level of care for the most part and felt things were fair in charges and what not. We hadn’t scheduled any appointments with them in 2022 and at some point during that time period, they stopped taking our insurance. We didn’t receive a notice or anything regarding this —which may not be much of a big deal, but it would have allowed me to look for another pediatrician way back then. It wasn’t until about a week ago that I found out when I tried to make an appointment for my middle son and we found out they no longer took our insurance not when we made the appointment, but when the appointment actually was supposed to occur. The issue I have is that as a result I had to find a new pediatrician —which was fine I guess—, and when it came time to fax over my children’s’ medical records, they said I had to pay a $25 fee before they would even send the records over. For some reason that REALLY bothers me because it is not MY fault they no longer take my insurance, but as a result I am FORCED to find a new pediatrician so I shouldn’t have to pay a fee to send the records to the new pediatrician because I have NO other choice! I could understand if so were requesting the records for a new doctor that I decided to change to of my own volition, but this wasn’t voluntary. On top of paying the fee —which I did— they said it would take a week or two just to get it to our new pediatrician. UPDATE: The doctor contacted me after seeing the review to let me know that her new front desk associate made a mistake by charging me the fee to have the records sent for the same reason that I didn't think I should of had to pay it (not our fault that the office no longer accepts our insurance). They reversed the charge for the fee and even sent the medical records the following day instead of the one to two weeks that the associate I originally spoke to quoted. The doctor was very kind and supportive in making sure all issues were rectified and even offered to still see our kids somehow if we were running into difficulties finding a new pediatrician that would accept our insurance."
