"Dr Wilson was great pre surgery however I found out after being double billed that she didn’t even do the surgery, the plastic surgeon did. She was good with follow up until she blithely commented that the mastectomy should “give me a few extra months”. Glad to report that my life expectancy has already exceeded 5 years since diagnosis."

"Unfortunately my family had the displeasure of being recommended to Misti Wilson for a surgical procedure by the Virginia Women’s Health Center. Communication between members of the staff seems to be lacking. My wife was in incredible pain for weeks following the surgery to which the doctor showed zero regard for. I recommend your family go elsewhere."

"Don’t know what the 2 star evaluation was talking about. Not only did Dr Wilson remember me from 4 yrs previously she hugged me!!! She was very informative, made sure I understood & compassionate. The staff at the Hanover location is top notch. Dr Wilson removed a mass from my breast. She visited before the procedure. Very upbeat with the staff, they sang her praises. Made sure I wasn’t in pain! I never had real pain, so she must be gentle! My guess the 2 star thought they knew what needed to be done & questioned her abilities."

". While I don’t doubt her surgical skill, her manner was unprofessional and disrespectful. She seemed not to understand that the relationship between doctor and patient is a partnership. She treated us as nonthinking persons who “should “ have no thoughts about the care given or the direction it could take. When presented with the range of possibilities we knew available (not what she proposed) she became offensive. Needless to say we changed doctors."

"This review is not for the Dr Wilson, but this is for the office she works in. Thus she can know what kind people are working for her and hopefully train accordingly. These people are very un-compassionate and lazy! I had an appointment with Dr Wilson for an evaluation. The front desk lady was smiling until she found out (or thought) Bon Secours doesn't take my insurance. She was wrong. I checked with my insurance when i was in the parking lot feeling shock that i was kicked out of the office. I found out Bon secours is in network and so is Dr Wilson. However, the front desk lady and someone in the back office whom the front desk lady talking to about my insurance issue were so uncooperative and uncompassionate, she didn't even want to budge her lazy behind to check to make sure. What kind of service is this? This is no way to treat a patient! even my insurance rep said the lady on the phone was being uncooperative. No thank you. it doesn't matter how good you are as a doctor, if your personnel is not good, it's a bad image, bad impression. ***Edit - after reading my message, someone called and apologized. I decided to give them another chance. Afterall, everyone has one off day. They were able to get me an appt for eval quickly. I went to a different location office. The experience was great! Like all medical offices should be! I just didnt want some poor soul having to feel what i felt. Thank you for listening."
