"It was a nice dog park. Met a nice family with their dog. Our dogs got along well."
"My Aussie shepherd & I travel quite a bit for work, so we visit a whole lotta dog parks around the country. This dog park is our home-park, so we’re there all the time. Here’s the basic breakdown: it’s big, enclosed, well maintained, has many poop bag & garbage can stations provided, has water & bowls on site, has small & large dog areas, has places for owners to sit & hang out, there’s parking, but not a ton of spaces (I’d guess 20-ish), & over the course of many, many, many visits at different times on multiple days, we’ve never met an inconsiderate, nervous or etiquette-ignorant owner, & we’ve never met a dog that shouldn’t be at a dog park. Note: “big” is kind of subjective, but if I can throw a ball as hard as I can (former outfielder in high school, still pretty decent arm) & not hit the far fence of a dog park, that’s pretty big to me lol."
"My little buddy love's the dog park. We go a few days a week and let him unwind. **special note** Purchase your annual tag for only $10 at Sandy Bottom State Park off Hampton roads parkway. The money goes to keeping the dog park clean and fix issues as they come up."
"I love this park. Great place for parties with your fur family and friends. This park offers a good amount of seating and gazebos for shelter. A water hole with a hose, a plastic dog pool. I do wish they had a real dog pool though. Make sure to bring towels if your dog likes to get wet. We have even seen sightings of blad eagles above the park. A family of 5. It was amazing."
