"Great place for a walk. Cool scenery and lots of wildlife. It also has a wooden boardwalk. The water near it is salt water so crabs and other ocean wildlife can be seen here."
"Great place but please do not leave your trash there, if you bring it in take it out so others can enjoy this Wildlife Refuge. Respect the natural beauty of it."
"Took the wrong path .went to the left...not good..today was the best day to walk that way as the wind was high and it was cloudy and the flies and nets were in full form ..whew Chile!!!..would take the entrance to the right side .it was much more pleasant..."
"Very secluded island, and quite empty on a mid Feb day. I was there during high tide and I had dry shoes the entire way. The walk to the end of the boardwalk was less than 10 min. Walking along the coast to the island/main beach ~30min and you can keep going for another 15min before you run out of coast line to walk on. Much of the coast line before and after the beach is clay covered in dense beds of clams, which was quiet an interesting sight. Great drift wood trees on the beach of the island. I will be going back for sure!"
"Cool spot but so much trash and broken glass at the water. There are two paths. One leads out over the marsh and turns into a boardwalk. Nice walk. The other leads to the river's edge and is littered with trash, broken bottles, and gutted dead fish. The wall to get there is nice but don't venture into the sand with kids or pets."
