"Nice place to walk around a nice day like today!"
"Definitely will come back & check out other trails. The paved walk was alright, but it did feel like I was walking along a prison fence. The boardwalk area was cool for birdwatching. The historic Henrico City area would be nice to come back & check out. The view of the river was gorgeous. There's a lot to do here! Must visit again!"
"Great park & trail but could use better signage. Impossible to find a map showing what portion of the trail is closed anywhere, save for this sign posted well over 2 miles into the 'loop' & just before the closure itself."
"Not the best place for a hike, but I liked it because of the view over the bridge."
"We ventured out on a beautiful 80 degree day in February to try bike riding at this conservation area. You drive along a road surrounding a Dominion Energy plant to arrive at the park. There are restrooms at the visitor center where you can buy tickets to view the historic area with reenactors who explain colonial life. There is access for kayaking and canoeing. We wanted to bike ride, however the trails were rocky, areas required you to dodge roots raised out of the ground, and the trail markings were poorly designated. The map provided was less than helpful. We were told a section of the trail was closed due to construction, but we were not able to determine where the loop trail branched off. Overall this was a disappointing adventure."
