"Nice little park and Veterans Memorial was really nice. Trail not maintained so be really careful. Also no bathrooms, only portable toilets."
"Great local park that is a little hidden gem. Nice playground for the children and large open spaces for plenty of sports activities. Lots of covered eating and grilling areas and a couple short hiking trails. Would be nice to have better exit lanes off the road."
"Had a wonderful time walking around with the Wife & Gus... 1st time at this park, but definitely won't be the last. Very family friendly from what I could tell, but seems like a hidden gem that not many people take advantage of..."
"Gorgeous day! Nice park with plenty of picnic tables and pavilions. Also has a nice playground for the kids, a good sized field, and a volleyball court. We enjoyed the trails and specfically went to see the Vetersn's Memorial. Nicely done."
"I began my visit by visiting the War Memorial. It is a beautiful design, honoring those who died in each of the foreign wars. After paying respects to the fallen soldiers, I enjoyed a wonderful "nature bath". There were only a few families there so, trail walking was easy. There are benches (each can easily seat 4 adults) on several spots on the trail. There was laughter and shouts of joy coming from the playground. I thought there were loads of children there but, there were only two. They were having a great time! There are several picnic areas & grills throughout the grounds, an old dam (that was a surprise), a water fountain, lots of green space for soccer,, Frisbee, and Fido, and there was a porta-potty. The grounds are always kept up. I can see them from the road. I have passed by this park for so many years. Today, it was my only stop. After social distancing for months, I really wanted to stretch my legs and walk somewhere other than my backyard. It is now at the top of my list of places to go!"
