"Splash Pad, Big Play Ground area, Lake, Boat docks, Gazebo’s with enough space to share and picnic, Walking-trail, restrooms available! Great to have a family picnic."
"I have taken my children to this splash pad and the kingsport one for the past 4 days and even though online it says open it isn't. As in yeah you can walk inside but there is no water play at all everything is turned off. Kingsport does have a number to call and apparently it's the same number to speak about the church hill splash pad but Noone will answer nor call back when messages are left just simply asking when there will be actual water play"
"Lovely park this is pictures of the lake at the boat ramp."
"Cute park with a SPLASH PAD! Boat ramp and ample water access, two playgrounds for different ages. Tons of covered picnic tables"
"This is just a small city park, but it is awesome. There is something for every age and physical condition. The best "entry-level" climbing trees around are next to a really nice playground. Benches and porch swings are scattered through the park in good sight of the playground and along a wheelchair-friendly walking path. Picnic pavilions with grills are free on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Food City and a McDonalds are located very close by, just in case you forgot your picnic. The park sits alongside the Holston River and has a boat launch that accommodates bass boats and smaller craft. I wouldn't use it for anything larger and don't recommend swimming in the Holston here. I have often seen this park busy, but never crowded. There is ample parking, and most of it reasonable for handicapped access. The only additions to the park that I would make are bathrooms and perhaps a water fountain or two."
