New London Tech Trails

"Great easy to access trails for biking and hiking, broken into different loops that are color coded. Wide open singletrack for the entire trail. No big hills and nothing too technical so it's great for riders of all skill levels. There's a yellow trail jump line connected to orange. Easy access if you take the street on the left before Simplimatic on the way in. Plenty of parking. Also, great disc golf course."

"These are supposedly multi-use trails. I guess they are but they seem more geared towards favoring mountain bikers since hikers or walkers are a bit at risk. The trails are well maintained and clear, but marking is sparse. Bikers are moving fast, so if you do decide to hike these trails, remain aware and ready to step aside quickly."

"Great trails for a "relatively" flat wood-trail run. The trails are pretty well maintained, although there are some very muddy places after even a small amount of rain. The scenery is just so-so. There is industry and a cell tower, etc. Its convenient location is a huge bonus and I am so glad this is here!"

"Great place to walk!! So glad it's here in Bedford County. Now we don't have to drive all the way to Blackwater Creek from Forest just to walk. The Tech Trails are awesome. My only complaint is that there is a (very nasty) port-o-john and no permanent bathroom. Other than that it's a great place to exercise or walk your dog."
