"Nice little scenic spot. Great for pictures!"
"While this is a very short hike to see the falls it is still a nice quaint spot to check out. If you are looking for a spot that is a 2 min walk from your car, this is a nice one. The "falls" is just a little trickle over a large boulder, but it still a nice one. I managed to hang up my hammock on a fallen tree right next to the water, and I had a very nice time. Not a single person pulled over during the hour that I was here."
"The small trail to the waterfall is not marked but well worth the 5 minute stroll. Not sure it's even on the park map and is certainly not signed at the stop. Plus saw two brown bears cross the road as we ate lunch. There is also a picnic table at the stop. Small parking area."
"Such a pretty place! Very easy little loop to hike. The day we went was after 4 inches of rain and the waterfall was so amazing. There was a little wooden bridge to cross over the stream that was a little slick. Small parking area and trash cans available. No restrooms."
"If you’re traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway & want to see a beautiful waterfall without a strenuous hike (or really any hike at all!) then Wigwam Falls is a great stop! It’s located between mm 34 and 35 on the Parkway. There’s a short trail (really short- Less than 5min walk even for my toddler) to a beautiful waterfall with plenty of space to spread out for a picnic. There’s an old railroad and a small footbridge as well as a little/shallow swimming hole. When we’re driving through, our kids love to climb on the rocks and splash in the waterfall here!"
