"I did not meet the owner but very easy to deal with through phone contact. Clean well kept with easy to back in sites. The only amenities are full hook up, picnic table, fire pit and location. Did I mention location just a few minutes walk from restaurants and the Opera house plus quick access to the trail or river. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning."
"Very nice and handy campground! Right on Greenbrier Trail and right in town!! Owner was great!! Nothing fancy but just perfect for our trip! Loved the time we spent in Marlinton!!!"
"5 STARS - AMAZING FIND!! Such a great wee gem. Campground basically backs onto the Greenbrier bicycle Rail to Trail path. Deer, deer, deer and more deer visit the campground morning and evening to eat the apples from the trees. The yellow flowers that encompass the campground are stunning when in bloom. The campground is very accessible for rigs of all sizes. Sites are flat. There is no bathhouse, which is more than fine. There is a laundry facility, Bubbles just a couple of blocks away, walkable. The Verizon signal is strong. No wifi or cable. Full hookups, firepit and large picnic table. I wish more campgrounds were like this! The town is also walkable from the campground. The weekly flyover from the Airforce Jets was always fun to watch. The campground is such a great hub to visit the surrounding areas of Snowshoe, Cass Historic Railway, Green Bank Telescope and several state parks. The owner of the campground is such a nice guy, would definitely stay there again if back in this area."
"Such a chill campground, owner was just as cool. Town within walking distance 15 min max to the farthest place you need to walk. Greenbrier access within 5 min walking 2 min biking. Cute small town nice people. Thanks again, we will be back. Cash/check is your payment options."
"Great little campground with easy access to Greenbrier River Trail. My hubby rode while I explored the town on foot. Only six hookups but great little spot. Thanks Brian!"
