"Great place to watch the sunrise!! The AT runs right through the parking lot. The hike South goes towards Loft Mountain Campground and the North to Pinefield Gap. There are scenic views on either trail but you have to earn it by hiking quite a distance.. Plan enough time to enjoy your hike along the way!! Enjoy Shenandoah National Park"
