"Parking lot entrance is easy to miss. I got a great pic by the pond, but the level was low, and the hiking trail was very overgrown, so we didn't' get to check it out to it's fullest... lots of potential."
"Water level is really low so bringing your boat is out of the picture. Not sure what the opposite side looks like to walk around to fish but with it as low as 15 feet all around, it'll make it tricky to do a bit of anything."

"The Thompson Lake loop hike was nice with spring flowers. No overlooks. Rocky descent if going clockwise. The parking lot is unmarked from the road and easy to miss. The lake is stocked."
"Hidden treasure. Beautiful scene. Our goal was to pick some fruits at Hollin Farms but turned out that they were closing early. So, we wanted to explore the area, and Thompson Lake was close. We will be back."
