"We took our daughter here for PT and OT and we were trying to get her in for an evaluation for Speech. While the services for PT and OT really helped our daughter which is why we wanted to come back for speech, we called to schedule an evaluation as we had a referral from her ped to do so, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and got us scheduled, there was mention that because my daughter was evaluated in July of 2023 that she wouldn’t be able to get evaluated until a year out from that date because she passed at that time, so the lady at the front desk said she would talk to the managers which I assume are the owners, I received a call back and she went ahead and said we can schedule, not even 30 mins later I received a email from the owner stating our appointment is cancelled and that we should try putting our daughter in a daycare settings as that could help and improve her speech, I was in disbelief at that statement and confused on why it was okay 30 mins ago to get her evaluated again but now the owner is canceling and telling us that we should put our child in daycare and that it’s normal at the age she’s at for her speech to be the way it is. Without even assessing her. But also at the end of that email the owner said “ plus insurance wouldn’t bill for another evaluation” so it all made sense, it was about money and not the concern of my child which was shocking because I did believe they were in it for the kids but it seems like money was the issue. I would have had no problem paying out of pocket to get the help my child needs but I think we will take our referral and services elsewhere, where they care more about the children they service rather than money!"

"My son was going there only on Tuesdays. Once I added another day which was Thursday, he had someone new just for only Thursday! That person happen to be and still is the speech pathologist manger name Tamisha Grant! My son was 3 at the time and he started acting out for a good month because he simply did NOT want to do therapy with her. The person he was with on Tuesdays he began to act out with her as well but not as much he would do with Tamisha. It was now time for his evaluation but before that she said due to his behavior it’s not therapeutic to keep him in therapy until his behavior gets better.She ensured me that we could take some time , regroup for maybe a month-3 months to come back! She did his evaluation on a day I thought my son broke out with an allergic reaction. However, it was hands foot and mouth disease! Did not know! It was my first time ever seeing my son like that and it came out of no where after eating in the morning ! He was unable to complete the evaluation due to it. She still scored what parts he completed and said my son no longer needed speech . When she knows my son desperately needs it! SHE JUST DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE BEHAVIOR ! I call to schedule an appointment months later to put my son back in speech because she ensured me that I could!! When I did , she said YOUR SON DOES NOT NEED SPEECH! Turn my son away ! I couldn’t book an appointment !! My son is currently 4 still needs speech ! Not from this place !! Tamisha Grant can careless about some of the kids, definitely mines! If you don’t like or love what you do anymore , find a new profession! Another person turning a kid away and it’s sad !!"

"I have been bringing my Jerome here at this location ever since this past summer for speech and occupational therapy. I absolutely love it. At first my son was very resistant to the staff and he cried a lot in the beginning but now he is super excited when he comes here. His infectious smile and his amazing energy brightens up the staff members. Most of all my son Jerome has progressed here a lot since he has been attending here."

"Impression thearpy is a wonderful place. The therapist there is very caring. They do come across a lot of kids but they make it personable. I enjoy going there and so do my son be looks forward to his days there. They have help my son tremendously and the growth my son is showing makes me excited for progress and future."

They take the time to speak with you and listen to your concerns, they will even communicate with his therapist at school to ensure they are all working together on my son's progress.
