"I am very pleased with the Physical Therapy treatments specifically in regard to my Long COVID or Post Acute Sequelae SARS COV 2. My intestines were twisting uncontrollably for about a Month and with my referral from Alexandria Medical Associates I was relieved of my 8/10 pain symptoms by the Visceral Release skills of Keith Scott the President of Fairfax Physical Therapy. This was important for several reasons: I was not able to work, and I am now back at work so I can pay bills, and I do not need the Flexeril anymore, because Mr. Scott ordered me a TENS unit which was as effective as the very addictive pain meds. So I would highly recommend Fairfax Physical Therapy because they are exceptional at teaching me how to be healthy and pain free using his vast knowledge and outstanding hands on therapeutic techniques!"
"I have been going to see Keith Scott for Physical Therapy for the past 31 years for Plantar Fasciitis, Herniation of the Disk between L4 and L5, Impingement of the L Brachial Plexus, and most recently for recovery from Covid Cholestasis. In each trip to his centrally located clinic conveniently nestled next to the George Mason University Campus, I have been told that my various conditions were "Chronic," "Required Surgery," and probably would "leave me disabled for the rest of my life." Keith Scott is perfect for those types of Pathologies with the "Hopeless Outlook." As Steve Martin would say: "Mr. Riley I have good news and bad news for you: The Good News is we are going to name a new condition after you! The Bad News is there is no cure!" Well with Physical Therapist Keith Scott and his staff there is always a Miracle waiting to happen thanks to his Mastery of Myofascial Release from Professor John Barnes, Visceral Manipulation from the Barrel Institute, His knowledge of the Stretching and Spraying Techniques of Dr. Janet G. Travell for Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction through trigger Point Management. These skills were specially needed for my reaction to COVID-19 because it continues to baffle the Medical Community. However Keith is up on the latest research and techniques combined with his years of experience in correcting Chronic Conditions. I am now recovered and back in School at Northern Virginia Community College studying to become a Biotechnological Scientist thanks to my many successful visits to the Fairfax Physical Therapy Clinic."
"I've seen Keith for quite some time as I have mild cerebral palsy, and need ongoing "maintenance", and treatment of any injuries that come along the way. Keith's myofascial work helped stop a 6-month-long occipital-nerve headache and has helped restore my back to health after a few injuries. Generally, the sessions are an hour long with manual/myofascial PT. I recommend Keith's practice to anyone, especially those who have had chronic and quality-of-life injuries."
"Keith Scott is the worst physical therapist I have ever had in my life. During my appoitments he would just close his eyes and put his hands on my stomach for up to 10 minutes as if he was going to soothe me with cosmic energy. He hardly did any therapy, sometimes he would take my leg and just move it from one side to the other. He charged for an hour and saw me for 40 minutes (or less), plus he doesn't have his papers in order. Athem told him that he should fix his situation, which he never did and he ended up charging all the patients because he does not have his business registered correctly and yet he advertises as if he is on the athem network . His excuse was, "I always do it that way and I don't know why this happens." Also, he charges the $40 copay if he were a specialist, when the correct amount should be $25 per physical therapy service. The place does not have varied physical equipment, just a sliding bed that he never uses, the exercises that he gives you to do at home look like elementary school drawings and he charges you as if you had done them in his establishment ($70). Finally, when I checked the list of services he claimed, many of them I never received (PT Eval, Physical Therapy). Avoid going there at all costs, better look for another alternative with people who help you improve your problem and who have the papers in order with your insurer. I had no improvement and it was a waste of time and money."
"Fairfax Physical Therapy is wonderful! Keith and his fantastic staff helped me walk confidently without pain. The office is easy to access. The massage and exercise treatment is private. Keith is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I looked forward to my sessions there."
