"Wishing You Well has saved my life. After being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder about a decade ago, Lavinia worked with me and got me on the right path. She coached me through difficult times and taught me numerous coping skills that I used for myself, for my students, and my family. Lavinia was straightforward, letting me feel my emotions, but always helping me plan to move on. Not only has Lavinia helped me, but I trusted her with my daughter. They did play therapy for a while. I've recommended numerous people to the practice who have all loved it there. 5 Stars."

"Still dealing with the ramifications of being “treated” here for several years. I did not know what therapy is supposed to be until I left their practice. My new therapist, when I told her about how TWO therapists (lavinia and theresa) treated me here, told me to sue them for malpractice and abuse. I tried to get help for anorexia, and was told to GO ON WEIGHT WATCHERS. they did not help or treat me in any way. Lavinia used to check in with me to see if I was using weight watchers, which I didn’t because it was extremely triggering. Imagine going to a therapist for help when you’re starving yourself and they tell you how to restrict better. lavinia told me first visit that she “doesn’t do crazy.” if you’re employed in this field and “don’t do crazy,” you shouldn’t be a therapist, and you’re definitely not a mental health Professional. Tried to complain at the office and they sent their lawyer after me. i guess they’re scared i’m gonna sue *shrug*, as I have every right to. Don’t go here, go somewhere else."

"Super unprofessional! I called and the office manager rudely told me “We don’t give out our names.” I said that I was only asking her first name not whole name to which she ignored my remark and and with attitude asked, “How can I help you?” Mind you, all the therapists names are on the website…ridiculous to not give out a first name. I called three other places and did not have that same problem. In discussion, she used incorrect grammar twice…”we doesn’t…” instead of “we don’t”. Sorry, but if a professional place doesn’t care enough to hire a manager that is more welcoming and can use proper English. I would never use them or recommend them. What kind of counseling office does this? I then read some reviews and began to understand that I was quite fortunate to find out up front about their reputation before scheduling an appointment."

"came for help with diagnosed disordered eating, was told to go on weight watchers by two separate therapists. therapists consistently misgendered people who were trans. was told on the first day that one therapist “didn’t do crazy.” when i complained about one therapist’s statements regarding eating disorders, i got called back by the other therapist who also told me to go on weight watchers. do not go here if you have body image issues. Adding because I’m still dealing with the fallout of this, and after I saw a previous review here. Do not go here. My eating disorder behavior has skyrocketed DIRECTLY due to two specific therapists at Wishing You Well. I have called multiple times to complain about my treatment at the hands of these ‘professionals’ and been called back by the therapist I had a complaint about! They really don’t care. I also left a message asking for a call back asking about their diversity training, since I was consistently deadnamed and misgendered by MY OWN THERAPIST. They never called back! I hate this place! It’s awful! I will never go back here or ever suggest this god awful place to anyone I know. edit: after calling for months and leaving voicemails requesting he information for their licensing board, they sic’d their lawyer onto me. they genuinely do not care about the people they’re treating. theresa billingsly broke HIPAA and provided me with purposefully malicious treatment. she misgendered me in every communication we had together. i pray this place gets shut down!"

"I worked there for 90 days. They fired me because i wasnt focusing. My dad had just gotten diagnosed with terminal cancer. I heard them talking bad about me saying their parents had cancer before and they worked just fine while dealing with it. On multiple occasions i heard them talking about clients negatively. Witheld my last paycheck because they forgot to ask me for the thumb drive the day they fired me. There are some awesome counselors there but a lot of bad ones."
