"after my OBGYN retired I went to Dr. Kinder on a recommendation from a good friend. Bed side manner was not the best. told her about an issue and she said it’s probably not a big deal, dismissed it. I asked about continuing to put on weight even with diet and exercise and was dismissed that i have to accept it because of my age. I went back one more time with weight loss that was not acknowledged and nearly fell off the table after my exam bc she slid the extender back in. i decided to ask another provider for recommendation and was met with kindness and also discovery that i did have an issue from the first problem i raised with Dr. Kinder that was dismissed. Sorry i didn’t switch after the first appointment"

"She is unprofessional when it comes to bed side manner. She rushed to deliver my child 1st time via c-section. She was really bad at the procedure. I was in pain for many years afterwards until I gave birth to another child. A new doc found many scar tissues! She also made a comment when I asked for an extension time from work and asked her for a note. She said “you people want free money”. At that time, I was fairly young and inexperienced. I completely missed the discrimination. Either way, I never went back to the office again! Stay away!!!!!"

"Dr Kinder is professional and knowledgeable. I had kids elsewhere before I moved to Virginia, but I would imagine that in a delivery situation, she would be calm, kind, honest, measured, and intelligent - all things you want when someone is helping you deliver your precious baby. I love that she was a pharmacist before being a doctor, because she has such in-depth knowledge and perspective on medications and devices. She counseled me on getting an IUD when the time was right, and helped me decide when to remove it. When I ask her about medications, she counsels me on benefits and risks and helps me feel like I'm making the right decision. I trust her implicitly. It is a bonus that she is a working mom, and also can be sympathetic about related challenges that affect my schedule and health. It's worth waiting to get in to see this group as a whole, if your situation allows it."

"Dr Kinder is great. Explains things thoroughly and calmly. The -2 stars is for the office management. I ordered and IUD and received no calls saying it was approved, and when I asked in person they said my voicemail was not set up. I called it in front of them and it's definitely set up. Also there were mixed messages, one saying I can schedule and IUD appointment because I know when my placebo weeks were and another saying no you can't schedule anything until they have the IUD for me. Honestly these aren't big things, but doesn't give off a professional experience to have such disorganization."

"First time to this practice. Waiting area nice and clean, receptionist friendly and efficient, virtually no wait time. Dr. Kinder saw me in her office for a nice relaxed chat about my medical history and concerns because this was my first visit. I did not feel hurried. She answered all my questions. I liked her professional manner and felt like she really cared. Lab results arrived twice as quickly as at my previous gynecologist. I will continue to see Dr. Kinder."
