"I am surprised that this DR still has her license I wrote this review and then read the reviews and I feel extremely saddened that women have built themselves up to get an appointment and had such terrible experiences with this Dr and it seems nothing has changed!! I went to this practice to get routine checks - smear mammogram this DR is extremely brash and her bedside manner is horrific I went for a smear and was told to undress I waited in that room for a ridiculous amount of time I almost wanted to get my clothes back on and run away but as we all know waiting for a smear you just want it over with it surprised me when the doctor came to do the smear she didn’t say anything to me I tone her was agitated I felt really uncomfortable and awkward, I told her i had put myself on hold for a while because of my kids and when I said I wanted my appointment asap she was very harsh in her response and she said ‘well you said you waited 18 months what does a few weeks make!!’ I found her to be very rude!! I had to force her to give me a prescription I was told I needed surgery and I could have that in May I contacted the DR because May was nearly over and months after my last appointment I still have not heard anything she told me her office would be in touch 2 weeks later I still have not heard anything, not having the surgery means I have been bleeding and I have been left - I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated I would say DO NOT go to this Dr and find someone that is respectful and has your best interest this place is terrible if you want to feel taken care of don’t go here!!"

"Dr Shawana Mufti is a brilliant & experienced doctor, very dedicated and compassionate, made me feel absolutely comfortable at my appointment. Not only she resolved all my symptoms very quickly & professionally but also coached me as a best therapist. I am so happy & relieved that she is my doctor."

"Recently was incredibly disappointed in my visit with Dr. Mufti. Absolutely awful bedside manner, did not even introduce herself before my exam - appointment felt extremely rushed. Dr. Mufti was completely dismissive of concerns and symptoms I was having. Did not indicate when test results would be returned nor did she actually explain anything that was put in my post-visit “notes” posted to the patient portal. Appointments like this are unpleasant enough already, it would be helpful to have an understanding OBGYN that is willing to take the time to actually talk to her patients about their concerns. Will not be returning and absolutely will not be recommending."

"Ms. Shawna Mufti delivered my second child who is now 8 years old. She was a great obgyn during my pregnancy and the labor process was outstanding. Ms. Mufti is knowledgeable, caring, laid back and has a warm heart. I am currently pregnant again with my 3rd child and extremely pleased that she is still my obgyn. I would recommend her to anyone. Her staff are also very friendly and happy."

"I must say I was inspired when i encountered Ms. Lucille at the front desk. She was awesome. However, This was the absolute worst OB/GYN experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Mufti failed to even introduce herself to me, nor did she ask me any questions about my medical history or concerns, she has clearly lost her clinical professionalism somewhere. She may have been in a hurry for some reason. But, I’ve never been to a dr for the first time without having a discussion before such an invasive screening like a Pap smear. I will never go back to this office and I don’t even want a follow up call with Dr. Mufti and I pray I never have a similar experience for my annual exam. I will take my business elsewhere."
