Raven Place

"DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I was looking for an affordable home when this came out and the reviews for the place at the current time was decent but I was wrong, during the time living here there were just too many problems. There was an insane leak incident where basically all the apartments were flooded with water. It took them at least a week to come attempt to fix it. The elevator also always breaks down, therefore leaving many of us inconvenience. They also charge you for so many random things in the rent like my usual rent is around $1200 and at the end when I had to pay my rent it was $1500, It was ridiculous. Also I looked in the parking lot and there were plenty of spaces available but Stephanie said that I have to be put on the waitlist in order to receive a parking pass. My lease is over and I never got taken off the so called "waitlist". The mail also always gets stolen because of delivery drivers not being able to come in or access the parcel so they just leave it out in the open. Trust me if I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely awful place to live. I might have to gather some lawyers to sue because of how awful the living conditions are and they are most likely breaking the law."

"Management refuses to talk to residents. Ask for the front door code and see if you get a response. I asked 5 times each time they refused. The elevator hasn’t worked in weeks with no ETA for when it will be repaired. Also fun fact about the only positive recent review. She has lived here two years with no issues but she has also lived in 3 other complexes at the same time. All their reviews are just five star. New management doesn’t care and building is not ADA compliant."

"I have lived here since 2021. The first year was mostly fine, leading me to renew my lease in May. However things have taken a turn for the worse regarding management and repairs. The elevator continues to break, and repairs take longer and longer each time it breaks. Currently it has been broken for nearly 2 weeks, and management has only addressed the issue once with no ETA on repairs. I live on the 4th floor, and while I am able bodied and can use the stairs without issue, it is inconvenient and I am sure there are other residents who are disabled and need the elevator. If you are considering living here, I cannot recommend doing so. We pay too much for this."

"What living at Raven Place has been like since I moved in recently! Homeless people sleep in the lobby during the winter and have urinated all over the couches. The windows are so old and faulty surviving throughout the winter season without an outrageous electric bill is almost impossible. The building flooded and I never received a text, call nor email regarding the issue it was like they wanted to keep it a secret, I just never heard of such a thing because a tenets safety should always be a priority. The damage went month(s) without being fixed or acknowledged and by then I knew this just wasn’t the place for me. Not to mention mail is just left in the common area daily so I know issues of missing mail are MAJOR in this building although we pay for a parcel locker monthly. Just think about your safety, and hard earned money before moving here and finding yourself stuck!"
