"Renewed my lease a few months ago, honestly great place to live! Management is nice & very responsive, maintenance are amazing, I’ve had zero issues the entire time I’ve lived here so far. My experience has been the parking garage is safe, building is secure, same with package/locker system — I’ve never felt unsafe or worried about anything. Plus location is convenient to everywhere you could need to go. My only “complaint” would be about street/city noise but that really has nothing to do with the building itself and it’s a minor nuisance in comparison to all of the pros of living here."

They’re always available to answer your questions and very nice and welcoming to be around. Desmond, Mike, & Lisa is the best maintenance team in the RVA area you can’t get any better than them. 10/10 recommend to live at Link Manchester."

"Pipes make noise and bar down is busy/loud all night long. Cars get broken into on street. Management will literally yell at you if they can and very uptight."

"I would stay away from this place if you can. It claims it’s a smoke free apartment but you can smell marijuana throughout the whole apartment. Our apartment had residents that smoked marijuana all the time and even after we brought it up to management, they did nothing. We brought this issue up multiple times about residents who lived above us and they did nothing. I’ll also add that the walls are paper thin. Also, beware of the bar across the street. Not only have there been shootings there in broad daylight but their patrons actively drink on the street, engage in illegal activities such as doing donuts in the street, and are incredibly loud on week nights up until 3am. You will actively hear fights and other confrontations as well. The apartment also has minimal security such as cameras on the outside of the apartment. There is a gate to the garage but looters and thief’s somehow get in and break into cars frequently. I can’t count how many times my roommate and I have had our cars broken into in general on this property. To add insult to injury, if you have appliances that do not work, the apartment will just try to put bandaid fixes on them and will not replace faulty or defective appliances. We put at least 10 requests in to fix our dishwasher and they did nothing to fix the issue or replace it. Management here is mediocre at best and standoffish when you raise valid concerns and say “well we just can’t do anything about it.” Stay away from this place. They over charge you on rent and they provide minimal incentives that justify the cost."

"Lived here for about 2 years and enjoyed it. Clean building, appliances worked great, no bugs or rodents, and garage felt very safe as it has a gate and requires a fob for entrance. In my time here, the fire alarm went off about 4-5 times which was annoying but not terrible (all false alarms). The leasing staff also does events which was fun. Pool area was nice and almost always clean. Gym was always clean. Parking price is amazing. And if you have a referral that's also good. Some cons: noisy people outside often, loud music at all hours of the day that I could hear on the 5th floor. I moved out to find a larger place for similar price and less noise."
