Wellsmith Apartments

"They like to creep on you. Unannounced maintenance calls. Cross your fingers you're not in the shower. Amazon deliveries get stolen regularly but with indifference from their security team. However, their cameras do like to follow you from the lobby all the way to your room. They have admitted as much to us. There is also the occasional homeless looking man passed out on the lobby couch overnight. EDIT - I reached out to them several times to address these and only heard crickets."

"Pros: - Great location and near the interstate - Great amenities - Spacious and modern apartments Cons: - Bad dog owners - Extremely thin walls - Horrendous cheaply constructed floors. You can hear EVERYTHING. Often would keep me up at night. Staff would argue that this is 'normal' for a building of this size. I just moved to an even larger building and I hear absolutely nothing from my neighbors."

The staff are so friendly and helpful and I definitely have to acknowledge Kaitlin Owens for her exceptional professionalism and her true kindness for others and especially to me. "I want to start off by saying that I love my apartment! The layout is exactly what I was looking for to transition to working from home. All the past reviews that mention the ability to vividly hear neighbors every move and poor floor installation are all correct! The staff are friendly though. My biggest concerns are the package/mail delivery system. I no longer even get packages delivered here. It is a complete mess. When I walk past the Amazon Hub Locker room there are packages thrown here, there, everywhere - chaos. I am so embarrassed to even have friends and family visit me. The smell of dog waste/odor is absolutely ridiculous. If I am coming in through the back I literally have to hold my breath because the stench will choke you at times. The elevators (whew) so smelly with slobber on the doors. It's a complete shame that I am unable to enjoy my stay at Wellsmith outside of my apartment and that's certainly not a good fit for me. I had to check that these were even listed as luxury apartments, that involves a certain standard that is not apparent here. This is really a college dorm-like environment. I am likely to not renew my lease once mine is up"

"I am approaching 6 months living on this property. Here are some of the issues I've experience. Number 1 and the main reason I am counting down the days for my lease to expire. The noise levels! Mostly above me. I'm not sure if these people are intentionally stomping but I hear every step, I know exactly where they are in their unit. I've reached out to the property management to avoid confrontation but it really hasn't changed anything. I asked management about possibly moving to the top floor, they had a smaller unit available, however, I would have to pay the new rate (50% higher than my current) other options were to break lease (Expensive fees) or find someone who would take over my lease. Ear plugs have made it manageable for me. Other issues. Residents not following the trash procedure. Residents not cleaning up after their pets. The stairwells are always dirty and have odors. I do have some positives. The amenities are great. The maintenance and house keeping staff are professional and very helpful. They work as hard as they possible can."
