"when I was a kid living here I’ve had almost all of our outside items stolen. From plants to bikes. Don’t recommend this place for kids. Because they don’t care lol"
"Since I am moving out in a few weeks I thought I would leave a review. This apartment complex is just okay it is for the most time pretty quiet for the most part and Josh, the property manager, seems to actually care about this place. The few things I don't like about this place is that you do get solicitors even with the no soliciting sign. You especially get Jehovah's Witnesses in the spring and summer time. You also have homeless people or I assume are homeless people trespassing unto the property but they haven't done anything to hurt anyone as far as I know. A lot of people have families here. Overall the place is okay, not the fanciest that I have seen but definitely not the worst."
"2023 update- the Landry untit keeps breaking down or has someones living it it so that's fun. Water and electric is always high($100-$150 each)found alot of shady repair work and the fridge broke down constantly. caught maintenance going though bed room claiming to be "looking for mold". They also leave your door unlocked alot. Then manager Scarlett is extremely rude and never answers questions and won't listen to problems with the apartment. Such as the roaches and bed bugs when we moved in and the down stairs toilet never worked the years I lived there. Plus the high crime rate, there where several cars & units broke into , after my window was broken I discovered they do NOT have cameras and I had to pay for it. When a gang member broke into my apartment bleeding they didn't clean the rug because there "wasn't enough damage " Every year the rent goes up. Used to be 650 in 2015 and no improvements yet. The tow company will tow your car for any reason, including not having the "new" parking sticker the apartment never gave you or it being "obstructed" but refuse to explain how so, they are a match made in hell."
"1st comment before move-in: I went for a visit and the lady seemed cool and real trusting. She gave me the keys to do my own tour and although the place was outdated the spacing, quiet and older building strength in the walls makes me really want this to be a #1 pick if I decided to move to the Southside. Update after move-in: I ended up moving in. The office manager is still the best I've had since I've left my condo community of 10 years. However, the only problems I've developed is sort of a repeat of where I just left after I moved in. The walls are thin. Besides the normal everyday living, your neighbors talk about you through the walls, rather than talk to you, they bang on the walls or listen to everything you do or look through your blinds before you realize it and have to put curtains up and although we don't have assigned parking spots, they get mad if the spot they are use to is the only spot open and you park there, so you can't enjoy your spot you call home without living on eggshells. Other than that, I really like the community, I don't use the laundry center as I go to family, and my bills (lights, gas and water) are what I expect them to be so no problems there. Just know privacy isn't an option here and now I want to buy a house and let this be my last apartment."
"I am a current resident been here a couple years since day one I always disliked Scarlett the property manager she is rude just overall a nasty individual how I survived was dealing with her bare minimum but to no avail u still have to in order to get maintenance issues taken care of. They are only concerned with the outside of the property to attract new renters the inside of apartment are never touched and therefore very outdated. The past few months since Kevin the best maintenance guy left they have gone through more than 10 maintenance men in less than 3 months...which have resulted in longer wait to get anything fixed. And last but not least the water bill is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH...I can't wait til my lease is up ..if you were considering moving here just don't but if u must u have been warned!!"
