"Towing company is predatory and will move cars nightly even if in visitors spots - your car isn’t safe here or your friends. Towing company always refers to property management as the ones responsible so do something about it Brookdale."
"I have lived here for 2 years and did not enjoy it. This place is a dump. Do not move here. Old, smelly, littered, mice, roaches, etc. Every month there was an issue with something. Water coming down from the ceiling, maintenance failing to fix things properly the first time, staff send important notices late or lose paperwork, visitor parking sucks, people constantly park in your reserved parking space, the walls are paper thin because you hear neighbors left, right, and esp above you, and ppl have smoked cigarettes in the building and left the cigarette buds near piles of mail left on the floor!"
"Kim has been wonderful addressing all my needs! She is very attentive to detail and has a very calming presence about her. My Amazon packages kept getting delivered incorrectly and not to the lock boxes and she helped resolve the issue. So far my experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Thank you everyone!"
"Please take the time to read through the reviews before deciding if you should move here. There are numerous negative reviews for a reason. I’ve lived here for a year and two months. The first year there were minor issues. Silmaire was on top of getting things done; she is amazing. Which was the reason we decided to renew our lease. This was a grievous mistake. When you move in, you’re given a form you go through and note any issues with the apartment. Later, I would find out that they do not go through the apartment to ensure that everything is functional before your move-in date. Within the first week, we had to put in three tickets for maintenance requests. The main problem was the washer machine did not work. One of the in-home features that was a MUST HAVE for us was a washer and a dryer. We are now going into the third month without a washer and dryer. The front office and maintenance gave us conflicting information and new excuses weekly. I will say Kim was kind to accept my call on her lunch break after I was lied to about her availability when I asked to speak to management. After speaking to Kim, they said a 100.00 credit would be granted. However, that does not cover the expense of washing for close to three months. In a desperate attempt today, I went to the office yet again to get an update. I was SADLY informed that my replacement was on pause and waiting for approval from corporate. There is no time frame as to when I will receive a new washer and dryer. I am exasperated and disappointed with the lack of care for their tenants. I will be spending well over 100.00 washing clothes on top of paying rent. DO NOT MOVE INTO BROOKDALE AT MARK CENTER APARTMENT HOMES you will regret it."
"- they do random inspections of your home as if you live at a college dorm??? I have since toured MULTIPLE properties in the area and NONE of them do this. This is not normal. - within the first couple of weeks living there, a crack appeared on my car windshield from being parked in the lot - MICE in the homes - My apartment had hundreds of issues within the first 4 months of my lease (closet doors broke, dishwasher door broke, shelves inside of fridge broke, my ceiling leaked, mediocre caulking job in the bathroom, no bathtub stop) - The thermostat is OLD and inaccurate so you can’t set it to an accurate temperature. My electric bill is so high because of this. - The guest parking policy isn’t convenient (have to pay for a lot that is miles away) - Understaffed and disorganized in the front office: I had to wait one hour outside on my move-in day because they gave me the wrong keys at move-in lol I just feel like you could have double checked. - The utilities (gas and water) are HIGH if you are one person living in a one bedroom apartment because they charge the whole building all at once and use some equation to charge each apartment by their square feet. If you live in a building with a lot of families and you’re 1 person (as I was) your bill will be high. - The maintenance staff tries their best, but they are also understaffed and not well managed. All these ultimately caused me to not renew my lease after a year. The apartments are cheaper than surrounding complexes, yes. But in my personal opinion, not worth the discount. You’re better off paying the extra ~$200 for better quality homes."
