"I been dealing with roaches since I moved in here. My first unit was a mess dirty carpet, not cleaned, and couldn’t use my tub for two days because it was clogged and roaches everywhere. I was transferred to another unit to have to still deal with roaches and the regional manager seems to think it’s okay to live with them. I’m super clean but that doesn’t matter because this building is infested and until they get in front of this pest issues the problem will still remain. I had my own pest control company come out to only tell me to get out asap because it’s infested. My own maintenance team came out to come up the holes said all he see is roaches and for me to leave. No one should have to come home and kill roaches every day I don’t live like that and will not continue to live like this. I wasn’t going to post a review but I need to. The staff is great I have no issues with them Kelli, Lisa, Jasmine, and Monica. I don’t blame them. Per Sec. 55.1-1220 of the Virginia code Lerner needs to cure this and make this place livable but it’s not. I been getting treatment every week and still killing roaches that’s how bad it is."

"READ FAST BEFORE THEY FLAG THIS AND FORCE DELETE IT LIKE THEY DO ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS RODENTS & ROACHES & TERRIBLE PEOPLE They illegally shut off utilities without warning, illegally enter your residence without notice, and illegally commit theft in the mail room. They don’t uphold the lease, multiple residents who openly violate the pet policy with overly aggressive large dogs. The lease states no dogs over 80lbs or multiple dogs weighing collectively 80lbs. However one resident has 2 dogs both over 100lbs EACH and they’re extremely aggressive and the owner has no control. There a multiple other large aggressive breed dogs that violate the lease as well. I’d be terrified to have a small child in this building. Maintenance does not respond to any of your requests, ever. NONE OF THEM. I’ll attach some nice pics of my ceiling which still hasn’t been fixed dispute putting in 3 separate requests, that doesn’t even count the den wall which hasn’t been fixed in over a year. Leasing staff are terrible examples of human beings. Four unprofessional, foul mouthed, careless, rancid, callous, and all around unpleasant people were the best Lerner could come up with? I’d rather just walk into the office and get splashed with vinegar than interact with these folk. Over the last 6 months, leasing team has put up signs at every major entrance stating it is required to use the call box at the front entrance. That box hasn’t worked in over a year, but they just keep putting up more and more signs forcing people to use the broken call box. They got money to install televisions in the lobby (that have never been turned on) but not money to allow people entry into the building?? Used to be 24hr security, now it’s more like 8hr/day security. And they hold everyone’s mail, so you can’t check the mail. Add to that, the building staff steal packages you’re basically guaranteed that anything you get shipped, will disappear. Multiple instances of packages being removed from the Amazon locker by staff and then “mysteriously disappearing.” Then you talk to leasing and get cussed out by the property manager Lisa. All the 5 star reviews you see are fake, written by staff of the building. You’re more likely to have eggs thrown off a balcony at you then you are to have a month where your water isn’t shut off. Add to all of this the absolutely pathetic Customer Service & Reputation Administrator David Page. In April I sent him correspondence around my review of the building. I then followed up twice over the following 5 months until I finally got a reply in August. You’d think a customer service based response after ignoring a client for 5 months would be either apologetic or understanding, however the first sentence he wrote was a snarky defensive statement insinuating I had somehow caused him to ignore me for 5 months. He then promptly refused to answer a single question and instead passed me along to someone else who I’ve been waiting to hear from for a month. They really don’t care about you at all. I wrote this review before but just go look at most recent reviews you can see Mr. Page admit to forcibly removing negative reviews but they somehow think it’s ok to have the building staff write the positive reviews? I’d like for potential residents to have this unbiased honest opinion of the building before making a decision to live here."
