"TLDR; Oakstone is highly unresponsive to simple and reasonable maintenance requests, to the point of negligence and endangering the lives of multiple occupants. Images attached are evidence of the issues mentioned below. I'm a current resident at one of the properties managed by Oakstone. My partner and I have lived in this 2nd floor unit for 2.5 months and upon move in, we sent our property manager Matt Burlee a list of reasonable items that needed to be addressed in order to get the unit in move-in condition (addressing the lack of cleanliness in the unit, ripped door screens, cracked paint throughout the unit, absolutely disgusting AC window units that have mold and clearly haven't been cleaned and serviced in years, old rotten balcony railings on 2 balconies etc.). 2.5 months in, the ripped screens have been replaced, and one balcony has new railings. That's it! We've had their go-to maintenance guy Martin show up at our unit at 8AM two weeks ago with no prior notice to perform work. We turned him away since we are due at least 24 hours notice prior to maintenance in accordance with our lease. Since then, he has not returned or contacted us at all to schedule and address all of the maintenance issues we've listed from the first week of moving in. Today, my partner almost fell off of a 2nd floor balcony because the railing is old, rotted, and falling apart. After we moved in, one of the balconies had its railing replaced due to the same issues. Yet this second balcony railing was never addressed. This is highly dangerous, and highly illegal due to negligence, since Oakstone is having us pay for a unit that is a potential death trap for us and our downstairs neighbors. After multiple attempts to work with our property manager Matt Burlee and Oakstone as a whole, our maintenance requests have largely gone ignored. Unfortunately, while the bones of this space and location are great, we've had to fight to get even the simplest request addressed by Oakstone/their contractors."

"Had the absolute worst experience with OakStone Property! They did not fix anything they said they would during the walk through and our unit was flea infested when we moved in. They ended up charging us for the pest control service. AVOID THEM"
