"Great trip with an experienced pilot, Don. We reserved an October morning flight on the website after calling Don to ask a few questions. Don said morning flights are more likely to fly compared to evening flights due to weather conditions. Our morning flight had two wind vectors allowing Don to climb and go left or descend and go right. Using this technique Don was able to land in a prearranged hayfield. During our flight Don did some low altitude maneuvers which included a touch-and-go in a meadow followed by brushing against the tips of corn stalks in a neighboring field. It was neat to see how well a balloon can be controlled. I recommend a balloon flight to anyone who wants to see an aerial view of the United States. The Shenandoah Valley provides great scenery. In the morning you can hear the cows getting excited to eat and catch a few deer returning to the woods. It was easy to book online and Don provided great communication via the phone as our flight date approached. Refunds are not issued if there is bad weather (too much or too little wind) but Don will allow you to keep rescheduling until the weather aligns. Remember evening flights may require more rescheduling compared to morning flights."

"We are so thankful to Don for accommodating us last minute. We weren't able to decide if we wanted to book ahead of time because of the weather, and we were only in the area for two nights for my parents 40th anniversary. Don and his teammate were able to make arrangements to take us up for an afternoon flight, so we could squeeze everything they wanted to do into one day. It was such an exciting adventure! We had the best time! We've wanted to take a hot air balloon ride for so long, this was the perfect end to an amazing trip to celebrate the most important people in my life.
