"Management is almost non-existent here. I walked to the office and saw one of them pull off as soon as I got there when I was told they'd be there for another 2 hours. Clubhouse is never open, and there is only one maintenance person"
"Amazing place. Never had problem Update Place has a serious problem with mold I'm allergic to it and had to be hospitalized because of it they wouldnt let me leave because of it they wanted me to pay 2 months of rent in advance even though the place was technically not up to state code. Alot of people have moved out 5 different property managers in the last 3 years I was there you can call and leave messages but they never get them. The only thing good about this place was maintenance person Rick but then he left because of how bad the place was. Renters beware. I've been trying to get in contact with property manager about my deposit it's been 2 months and nothing"
"Do not live here. It should be closed down due to MOLD health violations! 4517 had numerous apartments on alltheee levels with mold, tested positive for mold. Mold was growing on the sides of buildings for months until they power washed it & it grew back. Overlook Terrace hasn’t notified residents of this ongoing mold- health issue, residents legally can sue for compensation & can break lease due to the limitation of vialble living activity-breathing. Submit that above wording it in writing via email to Pamela, and corporate then following up 60 days prior to lease ending both a confirmed signature letter saying the same. Drop off a printed one in person. Also when dropping off your keys, bring a second party with you to video record you dropping off both as they will do anything to keep more money from you such a falsely & knowingly lie & claim that you didn’t drop off said keys. It’s a corrupt disrespectful business. It’s a shame someone’s willing to lie & put families in harms way without allowing them to vacate easily and not keeping unnecessary funds. And they do all of this for peons of dollars."
"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! One of the neighbors had her car stolen from the parking lot ! In February there was a group of men going into cars to what appears stealing and looking through windows . Manager never returns calls and in the year i was there , they went through 3 managers . The material is sooo cheap I could hear my neighbors( downstirs and side ) entire conversation . Then , my downstairs neighbor would knock on my door or hit my floor to keep it quiet ... mind I have a 6 year old attending school. She would say I would be banging on the floors at midnight ... clearly he’s in bed by midnight. She also yelled at my guests one afternoon because they would be over “too much “ .... if only she knew i could hear how she wasn’t on her daughter’s apartment lease ... and wasn’t even allowed to live there . Mainteance man was the only decent one , but the sewer has a awful smell that has never been taken care of . Worst smell as soon as you go outside . During January they closed the water on a Saturday from 8-1 pm with a one day notice . If they will be going into your home you’re lucky to get a one day notice even when spraying for pest control , they would ask us a day before to take accomodate our pets since they are not allowed to be around for that . AVOID IT !"
