"Just finished a tour with Julio who was extremely nice and so patient and professional! The apartments themselves weren’t anything outstanding but I would say they were nice, clean and worth their price point. The pavilion where the gym and business area were was really nice and clean!"
"I toured the complex 2 weeks ago and I really liked it. But, the required $100-$105 amenity fee (per month) is way too much, especially since I was told that not a lot of people use the bigger amenities anyway. So I don't see why I'd pay for something no one really uses. If it wasn't for that, then I probably would've gone through with an application. The complex itself was nice and quiet."
"Apartment complex had rats and management refused to fix the issue no matter how many work orders we put in. Not enough parking spaces for everyone with towing companies looking for any minute reason to tow you. Not military friendly after submitting orders to end lease early they went back and charged us an extra month of rent. Front office leaves earlier than their posted office hours and always have a poor attitude. Management also does not respond to emails"
"Since living in this apartment we have had a slew of issues that have not been resolved in a timely manner or at all. Starting when we moved in the apartment was not clean, I pulled hair out of the tub drain, had to clean the walls, pick paint out of the carpet and clean light switches, counter tops and found mice droppings in my stove. Then when it came to getting the parking pass I was told they didn’t work with out of state licenses / plates and I needed to switch it over to VA for them to do anything. Eventually someone stepped in and said that the information was wrong and gave me my parking pass. Then when I asked my husband to get it for me since I was at work in DC and they close before I get home the front desk women said that my husband was going to steal the parking pass and she wouldn’t give it to him without my written permission. It’s fine that they need permission but she did not need to tell my husband that he was going to steal it and that is why she wouldn’t give it to him. I have had a renters insurance policy since living in the unit but when I have updated it on my end the changes haven’t gone through and no one has told me that until today when I noticed. I supplied my insurance information and because my husband isn’t on it they won’t except it. No one has told me this, nor in the other apartments I have lived in has it mattered. When I put in maintenance requests it takes day for them to come or get back to me, there is no communication when they are coming and the man that comes will blame us for anything that is wrong. This has included: -outlets that won’t hold a plug (almost all of them in the apartment) -peeling paint in the shower (we signed a waiver that there is lead paint and to not touch it and to call them) -my kitchen light not working when I moved in (it strobed and took them three weeks to replace) -my kitchen light falling and hitting me in the head one afternoon. The people who installed it only screwed it into the drywall, not a stud or anything securely. We have stopped putting in requests since the last time they came the man called my husband a “rude American” and my husband kicked him out. Whenever we do try to call to complain or get clarification you can not get through, then you try another number and you go round and round until you give up. Then you walk in there and the receptionist at the front isn’t helpful, rude, will roll her eyes at you and schedule an appointment for over a week away since “the property manager isn’t in.” We also submitted our ESA letter for our cat four different times and was initially charged $350 and a pet fee every month. We never got clarification of the charges got dropped or not until today when I went in to ask and she rudely told me it was dropped. One until pays them around 18k a year, and let me tell you, I have lived in far CHEAPER areas / apartments with far better service / communication. The community here is great and it is walking distance to a lot of stuff, but management is AWFUL"
"This property is very noisy. These have to be the most obnoxious people I’ve ever lived around. People play their music sky rocket high. Everyone plays music even me but some of these people play their music so loud that I will have to turn my tv volume all the way up to 60. Now that’s obsessive. If everyone in the neighborhood can hear your music you’re doing too much. I’ve had to stop neighbors from calling police on these people because I know for a fact if these people get place called on them too many times they will get evicted. And that’s not something anyone wants to have happen. These people treat this place like they’re the only ones that live here. It’s already annoying that people on the first floor treat the whole bottom outside like their backyard having their kids outside all hours of the night screaming. I feel like most of the people who have kids here don’t care about their kids you will see kids out late at night playing and no one parent is in sight. And they are playing in a whole different section than their apartment building so I know for a fact parents are not watching them. On the weekends I understand that people love to drink but for people to sit outside on the stairs talking loud, drinking, and swearing is ghetto. Ever since they built these stairs outside of my window there has been nothing but people lounging on them just being obnoxious like they don’t have a balcony to sit on I just don’t understand. There is this one specific guy that just loves to come out on the stairs at 1 in the morning talking loud on his phone. And he does it on occasion people here are weird, loud, drunks, and ghetto. And on top of that there are mice in the walls you can here them every night. I don’t know about the whole complex but I’m telling you Exeter court don’t move it’s obnoxious. Move to the other buildings if you’re going to move here."
