"Unfortunately it was one of the very comfortable apartment buildings, but now it is in decline, the place has become a den of "Marijuana" users where you walk only smells of "Marijuana", the administration does nothing even in its contract it says that it is smoke-free , the administration challenges teenagers where they live like 6 people and become a "Marijuana smokehouse", worst of all the bathroom fan connections are connected like 4 to 6 in the apartment and the smell of "Marijuana" contaminates the room. rest, the tenants make their complaints but the administration does not take importance, the problem is that the owners cannot also complain to these guys because they are in groups and one wants to avoid any type of problem, I recommend before renting ask if their neighbor is a "Marijuana" user because these people don't have a schedule when it comes to smoking and they even smoke at dawn and one gets sick sooner or later, a neighbor called Montgomery County to do a supervision I hope the administration takes action"
"Do NOT move here. If I could give zero stars, I promise I would. Maintenance team is an absolute nightmare. I have had issues for over a year with my AC unit as it would either be extremely hot, or extremely cold. For a period of time, my apartment was literally in the 80s during the summer, with the hottest being 88 degrees (I wish I was exaggerating). I had to keep my windows open during the summer because it was cooler outside than it was in my own apartment. During the cooler months, my thermostat was reading in the 60s with the coolest being 55 degrees. I like to keep my apartment at around 69 degrees and would set it to this, however during this entire time of living here, it would never match to this temperature. I’ve placed MULTIPLE work orders and have had to speak to management in person numerous times, where I would just be told that they’re short staffed and they would have someone take a look when they can get to it. I also need to add that my AC bill has gone up to OVER $200 around this past June after the maintenance crew “took a look” at it. I literally live alone in a less than 700sq ft apartment. Ever since then, for months after that, my bill was around, or over $200. I spoke with the manager and he was able to reimburse me for the few months of outrageous bills, however I continued receiving large bills throughout the following months. I emailed him asking what the solution will be moving forward (at this point my apartment is extremely cold), as I shouldn’t continue with an AC unit with temperatures this low, and bills this high. I never received a response. It wasn’t until LAST MONTH (mind you, I’ve been living here since October of 2022) I sent an email threatening to have my money placed into and escrow account, that they finally went in and fixed the issue (however I still never received a response back from him). My most recent bill went to the normal amount of around $50 and my temperature has been on, or around 69 degrees. Completely unacceptable that it took over a year to resolve this issue. Similarly, I had a work order placed for my dishwasher once I noticed my floor had some water damage next to it. I received an email stating they were awaiting parts and two days later, the work order was marked as complete. My dishwasher has never turned on since. I have placed numerous work orders and those requests have continued to be marked off as complete. I have called management where their response was “go ahead and place another work order, it may have just been marked off as completed by mistake, and they forgot about it.” I proceeded to submit yet another work order, where it was also marked complete as of today (December 6th). I came home from work and with hope, pressed the button to turn on my dishwasher, and of course, it still did not turn on. It hasn’t worked since September. With my rent recently increasing, and lack of communication from the manager and maintenance team, I have concluded it is absolutely not worth living here and will not be coming back once my lease is up. Sign at your own risk."
"Horrible, You get lost trying to find an apartment. There's no direction on where to head on the hallway to find your apartment. Once you get to your floor if your apartment is not near elevator you habe to walk A LOT. If you have guests trying to come to your apartment they will get lost since there's no directions on where your apt is headed. They have to walk so much it's ridiculous for an apartment. I highly recommend apartment complex to numerate and put directions on where to find your freaking apartment."
"The leasing agent was extremely disappointing. During my visit for a "tour," she hardly provided any information about the community or complex, focusing solely on the apartment. Her attitude and demeanor were unwelcoming, leaving me with no desire to consider this place, solely due to her involvement. Please have friendly staff if you want to have heavier traffic at this complex. Other wise, beautiful apartments."
"Moved out within the last couple months after a year - The location and apartments are really great here. There are some minor things like the garage arm or package room but those were never really an issue. My lease was wrong when I got it and the CAM fee immediately went to max after I signed. Also, don’t expect to get in contact with the leasing office remotely. If you need something, you have to go in person because they don’t answer system messages or phone calls. They also lost my renters insurance almost every month and I kept having to re-submit it after they said it was good. The apartment was also dirty when I got it. Overall, if you can get past the learning curve dealing with the leasing office, READing your lease and make sure they got it right and clean your apartment when moving in, I enjoyed my time at cadence. Parking space was also never an issue for me"
