Mounts Bay Pool at Kingsmill

"Very unhelpful staff at the pool. Came to attend a swim meet, was told we couldn't park in the parking lot, had to go across the street and make sure to park all 4 wheels in the grass. Okay, fine. Crossed the busy street with my 7 year-old, and look! There's a gate in the fence right next to where the visiting team sits! So I asked the guy wearing the Kingsmill shirt if he could unlock it. Got a very rude response from him. "No, we don't do that. It makes a mess that I gotta cleanup and it's really inconvenient." So glad to know that you'd rather inconvenience 200 guests instead of one paid guy. And when the thunder storm hit, it's poor planning to have only one exit point as a choke point for all the people in the pool. But his sound logical reasoning was "that's how we've always done it." Well, if that's a valid reason for not improving processes and not being friendly to your guests, I sure hope that guy comes to work every day on horseback, because, hey, that's how we've always done it."

"Its not the biggest but it's a private neighborhood pool and its never crowded so its nice for swimming on your own or with a few pals. You get great sun so be sure to lather the sun tan lotion on! Its quiet so again its nice for relaxing on your own or maybe with a pal or two. The pool is always clean. I've visited it often this summer and last and I've never witnessed a murky pool. There are a 4 tables with umbrellas and quite a few lounge chairs. I would say maybe 10 if i was remembering off the top of my head. Great place to go if you like something quiet and relaxing."
