"Unbelievable. I have had all three of my children involved in this practice, two of them since birth. In September we found out we were dismissed from the practice due to four months of owing $103. Despite correcting this billing oversight that occurred due to having been on vacation, an unexpected death in our family, and the stress of my husband changing jobs, NO ONE from the office returned any of my calls to assist with reinstatement and simply didn’t care. My oldest daughter has now been without her medication needed for school while we hunt for a new provider. After reading several of the reviews on here, it seems this treatment is a common occurrence and certainly doesn’t speak to putting the care of the patient first. Absolutely ridiculous. However, I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Sullivan and she is the ONLY reason I fought so hard to be reinstated. Losing her care is a huge loss for our family."

"I visited today with my son who has ASD for a sick appointment. We saw Dr. Sullivan. She was absolutely amazing. Her bedside manner is fabulous! She put my son at ease by explaining every step she was taking. I truly appreciate her patience with him."

"Dr. Miriam McAtee is a joke and this practice should be avoided along with their practice manager who refuses to take accountability for anything that happens in her offices. It’s also… -Really hard to get an appointment when your child is sick. -They have no after hours in person clinic (hello VCU) -They asked if my child with Mastocytosis had chicken pox because they didn’t read his chart. -They will give you unsolicited parenting advice based upon knowing your child for all of one visit because you can never get the same pediatrician twice. -They will blame things on you (like if your child is misbehaving and you’re decent enough to talk through it with your child) and say you should just ignore them. OK boomer, not trying to give my child generational trauma like you did. -It took me three visits over three weeks to get antibiotics for sinus infections. They are not on top of anything at all. I would avoid, avoid and avoid!!"

"First and foremost they provided excellent service for my kids for 10 years. I’m truly grateful and thankful for that. Now my kids haven’t been in office since pre pandemic. Called to set an appointment and was told my kids have been removed from the practice. No phone call, no email, nothing! I thought I paid the only bill i had, but they said otherwise. After 10 years I just feel that is not how you do people, children or customers in general. Outside of emergency room and urgent care they have never been anywhere else. One missed bill(if it’s even accurate) during a pandemic should not be cause for removal without even being afforded the opportunity to pay."

"My family has been with this practice for 16 years now and 3 kids. They have always been there for us when we needed. I've never had a problem getting a same-day sick appointment (you get whoever is available, but you get somebody), seeing the doctor we prefer for annual checkups (DR. POWELL- the best!!); or getting solid, medically & developmentally-appropriate, trustworthy advice in person or on the phone. This practice is wonderful for ALL stages of pediatric medicine. New Three Chopt office is bright, clean and conveniently located."
