"Dear reader, please do not let yourself be misguided and scared by the 1 star reviews! This place has been given a bad name by previous employees who were upset that they got fired so they decided to post negative reviews. I'll start my critique of this place by saying that it is not the best, but it's definitely not the worse either. The hotel doesn't seem to have a decent sized maintenance team. For example, trash cans be be filled quickly and take a long time to get emptied by the staff, but that might be because of whenever the trash collection day is. My other issue is with consistency. Each room can be completely different from one another. For example, one room might have older appliances while the other has newer, or one room might have a phone and the other my not, etc. I would also like to say this place is in need of better furniture as I went to check out one of the dressers and found that the bottom of the drawer was broken/sunken in. Also the time that I'm writing this review this hotel is apparently in the process of being remodeled. The pool is also closed for whatever reason, but that doesn't really matter to me as I don't like using public pools anyway. In addition, about bed bugs and roaches: just be prepared. The building is not new and is being remodeled, so I understand the roaches. As far as bed bugs/fleas, anyone can bring those in, especially if they don't take care of themselves like they're supposed to. However, the whole time l've been here I have not witnessed either one of these. Honestly, as a general rule of thumb, you should just bring your own bed bug spray, roach spray and any fabric freshener, or disinfectant wipes with you to any hotel you decide to stay at since any (1 star or 5 star) hotel could be infested with these pests. All in all, this place is not bad at all, it just needs some improvement. There is a McDonald's next door and a shopping center down the street."
"Affordable and clean. We did not expect it to be any good, but it was a busy long weekend and there were no rooms available anywhere. We tried this hotel. The front office personnel were very courteous and helpful. They let us grab coffee and some cereal for my son, even though it was late at night. The room was not very fancy, but it was perfectly clean and everything was working. The check out was also smooth. All in all, it was a perfect place for the night stay at an affordable price. Nothing fancy, but we were not looking for fancy."
"The staff at the front desk are great people, couldn’t ask for any better as far as them. For the rooms though... I have been working on the road now for 5 years and stayed in some pretty sketchy hotels/motels but unfortunately this place tops the cake. Right off the bat the tv did not work, I could hear what was on but no picture. I’m not one to watch much tv anyway so I just let it go, the linens on the bed smell like someone’s nasty armpits and the non smoking rooms have cigarette burns all over everything. But what really drove me to write this review was when I went to put my groceries away in the mini fridge and two large cockroaches scurried out of the door. There are many other things that could be brought up about the condition of the rooms here but I’m not going to go on and on. Although the prices seem great, you definitely get what you pay for. Like I said great people but the place has some cleaning and remodeling to do."
"There was hair in one of the beds. The shower looked like it hasn't been cleaned. Soap scum and old soap stains were in the shower. I was literally afraid to shower. The shower curtain had soap stains as well. There were no toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion) so make sure you DON'T forget your necessities if you just happen to have to stay there. If you want a decent quality room, I suggest you stay elsewhere."
"You get what you pay for. The rooms need serious renovation and have not been "newly renovated" as suggested. The linen did not look like it was replace and the pillow cases had stains on them. The doors did not have skirts on them and had about a 1inch gap that allowed critters to come in. When we were there it was raining and unfortunately that is exactly what happened. Also the fire alarm was removed because of low battery however it was never replaced. Finally no hot water at all during the stay. Once more you get what you pay for great if you are staying there with a sleeping bag to get a nap before continuing your travels."
