"This place has gone down the tubes ever since Dr Mitchell left. I CAN never get timely appointments! I spent more time and money at urgent care because they never can get you in. They act likely they really do not WANT TO EVEN help you. I should just tell my children’s schools that we do not have a family DR or I should say PCP (family DR sounds like they care). They would never go out of their way to help a patient. I don’t know if it’s because CHKD has monopolized the children’s medical care or what. But seriously find another pediatrician. I am looking for a new one! I would give Dr M Bazil 5 stars! She is the best!! But the front desk and other managing staff and the willingness to assist is NOT there."

"My children have been patients at this practice for 11 years and I wholeheartedly agree it has gone WAY down hill. I’ve been patient and understanding due to COVID, but it is has gotten out of control. My daughter is required to have 2 vaccines in order to start 7th grade and they have “no way” to get her in to get them until 2-5 days AFTER school starts because she hasn’t been sick in 3 years, so they consider her a new patient. The first time I called, the woman was rude and refused to even try to find a solution. The second time, I got the most amazing woman they’ve ever had as part of their office staff (she’s the ONLY reason for the second star). She tried and tried to find a well-check slot, then spoke to her supervisor about me scheduling 2 appointments, one for the vaccines and another for the well-check they’re requiring. When she called me back (in under 10 minutes, impressive!) her supervisor said no and that I could take my daughter to the health department for the vaccines. If the health department is giving the vaccines without a whole 45 minute well-check, why can’t the pediatrician’s office she gone to since she was a year old do it?!"

"Poor communication - they did not inform me that my son was being seen for things beyond a well visit. So now I have to pay for all sorts of things that my son didn't really get seen for...all the doctor did was prescribe expensive medication. I would have seen a specialist if I knew I had to pay this much! Please communicate what IS covered and what is NOT covered to parent(s)/caregiver(s) during the visit. It is unpleasant and frustrating to receive a surprise bill after I asked the front desk if I owed anything (co-pay, etc.) when the appointment wrapped up."

"Dr.Hutchinson os amazing I love how easy going and relax she is with us as our baby. She is super understanding and communicative and of course respectful to our choices for our child. She explains everything very well and always answers all of our questions and doesn’t seem stressed out about it like other places we been to. She has been there when my 1 yr old was in need of formula when she was just months old and there was a formula shortage they provide what she needed which I appreciated so much!! She also gives my baby good books that match with her milestone like color books, animals…etc and my daughter loves it! my daughter is so calm and quiet when she goes to her appointment we just been good experience every time we go"

"If I could separate Doctor review from front desk staff review, I would. We see Dr Hutchinson and she is AMAZING! She has always gone above and beyond. She's professional, yet personable at the same time. The kids LOVE her. We LOVE her. But. The front desk staff is far from the same. I would give them one star. ANY time I call, I need to set aside AT LEAST 30 minutes to be on hold just to talk to a real person, no matter the line I'm calling for. Its impossible to speak to anyone and tehn when you finally get to talk to a human being, they're rude, short, and act annoyed that you're calling in the first place. Same attitude when you report for your appointments. I work in a clinical setting and this would be absolutely unacceptable. The phone hold time, the attitude, everything. Today, for the 7th business day in a row, I have tried to call to set my daughter's 4 year well check and ask a question. I was on hold for over 40 minutes. 40 minutes that I technically don't have and had to be clocked out of work for, and i still never spoke to anyone or was able to set my daughter's appointment. Anyone with children knows that 40 minutes on hold is UNREAL. And then to not even speak to anyone is just unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will be attempting again to set my daughter's visit with Dr Hutchinson ONLY so that I can tell her in person why we're leaving and that it most certainly has nothing to do with her and that if there were a way we could stay with her, we would. I just need a practice who actually answers phones and sets appointments."
