"I have been attending this office for many years. I see Alyse Piper and wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else. My whole family attends as well. Yes it is true they are a busy office but you can select to be put on the waiting list. The staff is professional and caring. They listen to me and I never feel rushed. I would reccomend this team to anyone looking for a medical professional with the knowledge to care for your whole family."

"Nearly impossible to schedule an appointment here. Even though I have been seen at another Sentara affiliated location they see you as a "new patient." I guess some doctors had left the practice and aren't accepting any new patients. Don't waste your time with the Sentara Family Medicine practices- some locations scheduled as far as next year in April 2024 when it's only July. Look for other options!!"

"I have no love of going to the doctor but I've been seen by this practice as needed for several years. I've received good care that would likely be great care if I were a more cooperative patient.... My reluctance to get with the program isn't on them and I'm attempting to do better. "I have been going to Sentara family medicine at 1950 Glenn Mitchell Dr. Suite 300 for two years now, and I have never received worse patient care than I have in the last few visits! I have been seen late, as of today an hour late, every time I have been in and there has been a confusion of nurses to attend to me. I have been forgotten about in one of the exam rooms and was told I Could leave prior to the doctor finishing his visit with me. I have been back to receive to tuberculosis test in the past week and both have been administered deeper than they should be. The physician assistant Ashley Childers is my absolute favorite doctor, but since she has been out on maternity leave the office has taken a turn for the absolute worst. So for anyone thinking about visiting at this Office in Virginia Beach, make sure to have your appointments made with the physicians assistant or switch offices because you, as well as anyone else attending that office will receive horrible patient care."
