Tanita Sweat

Tanita Sweat is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Registered Nurse located at 2470 Pruden Boulevard in Suffolk, Virginia. With a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Tanita has the education and experience to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to patients of all ages. She is currently pursuing certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Liberty University. Tanita specializes in treating a variety of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD. She believes in the importance of the mind/body/spiritual connection and strives to build compassionate and empathetic relationships with her patients and their families to provide individualized, comprehensive care.
