"I took my 3 year old to this dentist. She was excited at first, but then got nervous. They had her sit on a giant bean bag in a semi dark room, and the dentist cleaned and examined her teeth on a bean bag, which both she and I found strange. She looked uncomfortable too. We had read a book about going to the dentist for months ahead of time and she was expecting to sit in a normal dental chair, so I think it threw her off. The dentist was very nice, and I guess he did a thorough exam but it was hard to tell since he didn't have her in a normal chair with a big light to examine her. I don't know what is entailed with a typical 3 year old cleaning and exam, but this was a bit disappointing and awkward. I don't think we will return to the practice."
